Relax, play some SPEEDcluster

Joystiq's own Vlad Cole put us on to this casual gem. Don't be frightened away by the pervasive foreign language that waits after you hit the link; the objective is easily explained: Across the bottom are your cards. You'll want to pluck them up with your cursor and toss 'em into the four columns, building combinations of cards (in ascending or descending order; e.g., 4-3-4-5, etc...) based on the cards that are falling. (Hint: you can go 'around the corner,' i.e., King-Ace-2, and vice versa). Enjoy!

Not recommended for touchpads. This is a really fun game, though. But I don't understand the scoring.

It will indeed work on the Nintendo Wii. Picture's kind of tiny, though!

One fun thing I've noticed is that you can count up AND down, all in the same cluster of cards. Say you've played 4, 5, and 6 on a cluster already... you can drop a 5 on that cluster and it still counts.

It's considerably easier on the Wii since the game moves more slowly while the cursor still moves at normal speed. For comparison, my best score on my computer is 144,000 or so.

But man was that 27-card combo satisfying.
