Please Microsoft, make more RPG titles like this available to us. Broadening the scope of Xbox games like this has only benefits and no disadvantages.

Man, most of those screenshots look really good.
Pre-rendered good.

Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean are tri-Ace games, tri-Crescendo only did the sound. They're different companies. tri-Crescendo's only previous games are Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos Origins.

Pre-rendered my ass... I'm looking at these shots and there are enough of the telling flaws that i am certain this is real time. I shimmer here or there, and angle...

Looks good, if they keep making games that look like this I may just end up buying a crapbox360. Ive never wanted one because of the lack of appealing games to me (and everybody I know being on thier 2nd+ 360), but more games like this would certainly be a plus (assuming it turns out to actually be fun).

MS just doesn't want to give up on Japan, do they? This game looks pretty impressive. I just with their JRPG's weren't so cutsie.

Although I am more interested in RPGs like Star Wars: KotOR, I won't deny that some good Japanese RPG's will make the 360 more appealing to different audiences and boost sales!

What an impressive looking game, and I'm a sucker for action-RPGs.

@ShaleX
I wasn't saying they actually are pre-rendered.
I said pre-rendered good, as in they look that good. And they do, the textures are rich, the 3d models are smooth and the art direction is great.

When so many games for 360 look realistic (aka muddy brown), it's nice to see a game with a bright, colorful art style. The 720p images look great.

This game looks pretty nice, but still doesn't convince me to buy a 360 (for RPGs). I dunno, I guess I'm just expecting more from the 360 seeing how good Rogue Galaxy and Dawn of Mana are looking on the PS2!

What blows my mind with those shots is how they don't look like they are your traditional 3D models with cell shading tossed on them. They actually look like they're actual animation frames. Ever since I heard about cell shading, I wanted to be able to play an anime. So far, that hasn't come true. This looks like it could be the first.

UGGH! I really want this game from the screenshots, yet I still don't want to shell out for a $400 game system. But now that the 360 is getting something other than shooters, in a couple years it could become as diverse as the PS2 (we all know the PS3 isn't going to be the next 50 million machine seller this gen). Maybe I'll break down and get one like I did the PS2 when the number of games come out that I want reaches a certain point and a price drop occurs.

This looks like it might be a seriously well-developed game. Wonder if MS's effort will pay off in regards to Japan?

Looks like the best game ever (graphics-wise). If this doesn't come out in English, heads are going to fall off.

best graphics ever? pre-rendered? animation cells? this: http://xboxyde.com/news_4036_en.html# ?

... has no one here played tales of symphonia or crystal chronicles before?

I mean don't get me wrong it looks pretty sweet, especially the colors in some areas http://xboxyde.com/news_4036_en.html# (though other area look pretty barren http://xboxyde.com/news_4036_en.html# ) , and some of the textures/lighting are nice and impressive, but there are definalty rough edges on models and not so great textures (look at the shot with the guy on the ground and the girl using green magic... the stone groung is uggh). Though these could of course be fixed later :3
