If you pick up a copy of Midway Arcade Treasures 2, you'll get MK2, MK3, and a whole lot more. It won't be online or in 720p, but it will probably only cost you about $10. (Available for PS2, GC, and Xbox... it should work with your PS3, Wii, and maybe the 360.)

Should have said "beheading to..." :p

I can't get excited by MK anymore. Street Fighter matured with age, along with classic Sonic etc. No MK :(

Weird, I find that I was good with Lui Kang. Oh well, to each their own.

Rayden was cool as well, I like way him and Scorpy could teleport. The sister ninjas and Subz were nice to use also.

Lol at Johnny Cage, most people who played as him usually got their ass handed to them regarless of skill.

The ultimate show off had to be Subz though. After winning I would freeze my opponent, then freeze them again, causing me to freeze, then look away from the person like "I don't even need to kill you, I'd rather immortalise myself in statue form, ha"

Does anyone else know how to perform a fatality on the original MK (or was it MK2) and make your opponent look AWAY from you while they died?

that picure basically sums up the tier structure of how good characters are to use at competition level, meaning which characters are more effective. Winning with Johnny Cage is kinda like Winning With Dan Hibiki or Sean in a street fighter game.

I always like Mortal Kombat Trilogy the best. MK2 was cool,but not enough characters,levels,ect ect.

I'm not sure how well this will play online. No argument that MK2 is amazing, but it turns into a turtle-fest in serious play.
