Today in Joystiq: February 27, 2007

Joystiq reader Realn0whereman sent in this pseudo mod, taking apart a poor defenseless Nintendo Entertainment System (also known as 'NES,' in some circles) and turning into a digital clock. We hope Heck doesn't feel threatened -- heck, with LED lighting we hope Boston doesn't feel threatened. Check out the highlights for today:

I call Shenanigans!!! Normally I wouldn't get upset over this kind of thing, I generally support any kind of mod; I mean why wouldn't I?!? But this kind of upsets me. Not for lack of creativity or sloppy craftsmanship on the modders part, but because I feel cheated! I too have a NES mod, and I tried very hard to get Joystiq to post, even reference it in some off comment, but to no avail. So here it is the JNESI. Feel free to look at it, or not. For I fear I shall never grace the pages of any of my favorite tech/gaming sites. I was even told by an engadget member that the date posted on my flickr slideshow was to old to be reported, even though they all loved the Mod. :(
