The European launch of the PlayStation 3 is coming up and it appears more than Sony are preparing for it. Pretty much right on top of the PS3's launch, Microsoft is releasing a new set of £19.99 Platinum Hits. The games included in this are: Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Burnout Revenge, Fight Night Round 3 and Top Spin 2. One of these games is a PlayStation 3 release title for Europe, if we recall correctly. As that kid from the Connect Four commercial would say, "pretty sneaky, Microsoft!"Will this hinder PS3 sales? Nah, we don't think so. It might decrease the attachment rate if consumers already have a 360 and would rather have a game for £19.99 instead of the full price of "expensive". Yeah, we said it. Games are too damn expensive. Maybe I'll write a rant about that... but I'd end up contradicting myself. I remember Phantasy Star IV selling for what, $75 bucks? Whatever. What do you guys think? Will this hurt Sony at all?
