New Unreal Tournament 3 details emerge

Wow this is awesome. I hope the weapons are all fun unlike some games where people only use like two or three. and an addition of 30 maps is awesome. i cant wait 'till this game

Why would there be more cars than guns?

@4, if you're talking about voice commands for bots, Unreal did it before in UT2K4.

My Opinion: Five special Weapons per team, vastly different, and each team will have a two weapon default loadout.

Fifteen Vehicles, err...this is probably vehicles that are related to only certain terrains or maps, and then there are probably some that only one team can occupy and so on and so forth.

...like i said, though, its just an opinion.

i can't wait for the mass destruction to begin!!!!

Co-op campaign? So this means there will be an actual campaign mode in UT3? Not just a bunch of tournament matches like in the previous games?

@8...Yes it is coming to the Ps3. What will it look like, well it's pretty safe to say it's going to look exactly like the 360 version, seeing that both systems graphically are equal in one way or another.

@10 Exactly the same? Epic have implied that the PS3 doesn't have enough RAM available for graphics to match the 360:

It's so funny how long Sony managed to keep people believing that the PS3 was going to be a massive leap up from the 360. Now PS3 owners have to be content with graphics that are "almost as good".

Epic is awesome. I was getting a little burned out by this series with Unreal Championship 2003 or whatever, but I am looking forward to this, especially after seeing what they've done with Gears. Good stuff.

The PS3 fiasco is just sad. 4 months later and they get a 360 port on the PS. It sucks that you can't even talk about that thing without sounding like a hater but Sony has just done everything wrong. I spend a ton of money on gaming and I would love nothing more than for Sony to give me a reason to own three systems again but I can't think of a thing they could do at this point to make me open my wallet for them again. God of War three maybe? By then the PS3 will cost 200 bucks anyway... way off topic. sorry

lets hope thats right scott...cuz then we can all be jolly 360 fanboys and laugh at the ps3 fanboys because we get the game 4 months earlier.

speculation: this could easily be due to the programming of their specific cell processors and how complex it is...

I say the original Unreal or Unreal Tournament gets posted to XBLA. Better yet, post both. Unreal for single-player, Unreal Tournament for multiplayer.

Morpheus is still the best FPS map I've ever played.
