Consoles only, I prefer to be sitting on my couch not at a desk.

Console only, I'm afraid. Macs don't play games like consoles do.

Andre, why not just install BootCamp on your Mac? I've been running Vista on my MacBook Pro for months and months.

Why bother trying? They will attach it as a bonus to another game in a couple of months anyway...

i think it depends..

i will play more pc games if the reward is greater, i.e. achievements and stat tracking.

however, i feel i will be a console gamer only because i feel threatened by "leet haxorz"...or whatever...on the pc. plus, im not too sure how comfortable i am with controller vs. keyboard/mouse.

i am a console fan by heart, but i know for a fact that the k/m is more lethal...because ive played my fair share of pc games.

in conclusion, i am interested to see how all of this will pan out.

I got this too
"You have been accepted to Games for Windows – Live Application Process and your status is Active."

right after I press submit on survey screen. Does this mean I am in or just some msg someone forgot to change?

The "You have been accepted to Games for Windows - Live Application Process and your status is Active" only means that your *application* has been accepted into their system, not that you were accepted into the beta program.

Console only for me. I use the computer all day long the last thing I want to do is sit on one to play games. I would rather see PC gaming stay where it's at with the cheaters, modders, hackers and general lameness. Keep Live for consoles only and controlled like it is now.

Yup drew is right.

This is similar to how Shadowrun was set up.

It sets your status as active so that you know that you're registered for _selection_. It does not mean that you are accepted into the beta program.

I guess we can settle it once and for all then if k-brd/mouse or controller is better.

Is there really an argument about KB/M vs. Controller (especially for FPS)? Does ANYBODY really argue that they are more accurate with a controller?
I think the argument stems from people not wanting to have to use a KB/M to be competitive. That would ruin a console FPS (theoretically). I think NOW we get to see if that's true.
