Video: C&C3 Trailer
13
Godfree over at GamertagRadio put up a new trailer for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars for your viewing pleasure. Given some of the details posted over the last couple months, it's very interesting. The trailer itself is pretty cool, complete with cameos by Sam Fisher and Lando Calrissian, and has a very dramatic feel to it. Gameplay looks solid, and quite frankly, hectic. There were some moments with a ton of stuff happening all at once. What do you think of the video, and do you plan on picking this up?

You might want to not that C&C3 is shipping later this month for PC only. The developers were on 1up Yours! podcast a few weeks back and said that the console build of the game is a couple months behind the PC version. EB.com has it (360) listed for 5/8.
Can't wait! This series is the real deal.

I believe that is the trailer that is attached to the downloadable demo (the PC demo, a 360 demo does not yet exist).

I've heard it said that only every other Star Trek film is good, starting with the second one. I think the same goes for C&C. I've only ever enjoyed the Red Alert series of C&C games. I find the Tiberium games to be consistently disappointing in terms of gameplay and story. if I *do* snag it (not likely), it'll be on PC, cause that's the only way to play C&C.

Yeah, that video has been circulating for a while (for the PC version), and indeed it's on the beginning of the PC demo which was released earlier in the week.
Sawyer from Lost appears to be in there too...
Played the PC demo yesterday, it's just like playing Red Alert again, they've certainly buried the ghost of that godawful Generals game. Will probably get it on the 360, if the control scheme is up to scratch.

I love the return to FMV cutscenes. However, the lighting in some of those sequences look a little flat and budget.

I'll check it. Boomer (Grace Park) is in it. Lando and Sam Fisher I can do without.
