I will not click on a link (no pun intended) that leads me to Hot Topic. I'm not 13. I don't care if it is Zelda related. ;)

I'm 19, and I STILL buy shirts from Hot Topic, so I don't know what Loban (#1) is talking about... I'd buy any good Nintendo/video game related shirt if I like it, whether it's fan made, from Hot Topic, or from Nintendo themselves. I'm not saying I like Hot Topic at all... just that, I don't care where the shirt comes from as long as I like it, and if I can get it from a non-labor abusive company (a.k.a. shirts NOT made in China), the better.

As for the Zelda-inspired pin above, I don't care too much about it. As for the Hoodie featured on that page... I might buy that if I had money...

I'm way too cool to buy anything at Hot Topic. Hot Topic is for posers and losers. Etc, etc.

...give me a break already. Hot Topic built a business on selling stuff geared towards people who embrace counterculture. That's capitalism for you. Deal with it.

Actually guys, I was actually saying I was too old for hot topic, not too cool. If I want a gaming shirt, I'll buy it from thinkgeek.

They may be trying to be counter-cultural, but counter-culturalism has become such a fad that it's not counter-cultural anymore. It's like punk music. I don't want to hear some fag in his late 30's scream about hating Bush, or the man or whatever. Good job, you're rebelling against your parents. It's not like every other generation has done that...
As for the shirt, I wouldn't buy it, because the picture is from the old tv show, and I can't watch that for more than like 2 minutes. If it were an OoT shirt, I'd probably have to "celebrate the weekend."

I admit that Hot Topic isn't my first choice when I head out to buy, well, anything... but they do occasionally turn up some interesting stuff like this.

Counter-culture and pop culture have crossed many times before. I don't see the problem. And anybody that has the guts to sing/speak out against corrupt politicians is OK by me.

I hate to be a snoot, but that image is actually from the LOZ instruction manual. Or as I like to call it, "the most useless instruction manual from an era of really useless instruction manuals."

Seriously, imagine being 10 years old in 1987, never having played a game like Zelda before, and trying to figure out what to do and where to go. Until I got the strategy guide, that game was capital-f Frustrating. Being close to 30 now and having beaten TLOZTP with no guide, I feel a bit vindicated.
