That makes me sad. My birthday is Sunday and I was expecting some kind of message! Now I feel all disappointed.

I woke up on the morning of my b-day to find my Wii pulsating in blue. I was running late for work, so I didn't check it until I got home, but I was kind of excited that the Wii had acknowledged my birthday... or so I thought. It turned out the glow was from a system message sent out to every Wii owner that morning, so that put me into a great depression. I was saddened and disappointed since I figured with me entering my birth date for my Mii, it would have congratulated me in some way.

I know!!! My birthday is Monday and I was stoked thinking I would get some kind of acknowledgement. I checked the calender yesterday and saw there was no sign of anything special. Soooooo, I left my own birthday greeting as a memo so at least I would get something!

Well fine. I wasn't going to invite the Miis to my party anyway.

*pout*

Maybe specific cames need to take advantage of it. Animal Crossing, perhaps?

My 30th b-day was about 2 weeks ago...the Miis didn't care about this milestone and I spent my birthday alone...drinking myself silly.

I always assumed it was so you can keep track of when you created them. Yeah, I have a Mii for myself, my mom, and my girlfriend...
and my sisters, my brother, some of my friends... the three stooges... Michael Jackson (which actually looks eerily precise)...
Aaaaaanyway, I obviously don't know the actual birthdays of all the Miis I've created, and a lot of them aren't even real people, so I just put the date I created them as a point of reference.

It'd be neat to see them be put to some use in future games, though.

WarioWare uses your birthday sometimes with the "Quiz Show" microgame. It sometimes asks a question about your birthday, such as "Nod your head if Kirk was born in November"

Seriously Nintendo, you couldn't have put a party hat on the birthday mii? In MGS2 you got a happy birthday complete with cake (icon) and candles if you put in the current date when they asked for that info for your dog tags (I love MGS and hate that PS3 has it). Being the masters of all that is cute and fun (currently playing Paper Mario), I figured Nintendo could do something with birthdays. Flash a picture, drop a cake on a Mii's head... do something. Bottom line, we need an update to fix this outrageous problem.

Are you kidding?!

My Wii had a big party for my birthday! Complete with confetti, and jolly ranchers!

I even got 1000 free VC points!

Hopefully Nintendo will fix this missing 'feature' in a future update. It would also be nice if the Miis celebrated other events and holidays like July 4th (for those of us in the US) or Halloween.
