Can Joystiq and the gaming press please convert the Microsoft points into Dollar figures. Treat it like the currency is from another country. Put the $US figure in brackets if you must. I think it will stop a lot of the confusion and should help peopple know just how much they're paying. You do it when the games are priced in yen.

#2 thats brilliant, i say, brilliant. i think 400ms points is like 5 or 6 bones but it sure would by nifty to have the conversion in the articles.

to quote #2
"You do it when the games are priced in yen."

Yawn, is it me or does it seem like XLA is more and more turning into a "yahoo games" or even more so a "msn games" clone. same type of sh*t, no new ideas, cookie cutter new games or dumb ports of old games. all this crap belongs in the mobile/handheld category where all the other similar style stuff is.

but that's just me... i'd also like the US to go completly wimax 4G all over and every device connected, and 100 million dollars and 1959 ferrari gt250 Tour de France...

Pinball and Eets look pretty good. Not sure on Boom Boom, but I'll certainly try the demo.

As to points conversion, it's not exactly rocket science math: 400 = $5, 800 = $10. Now for the homework, what would 1200 be?? Wow that was really hard.

The fact that you need to justify the MS Points = $ conversion is sad. Go on about the simplicity, while Microsoft squeezes the pennys out of you.

It's kind of funny, the most successful service to offer 4GB HD movie downloads has a 150mb limit on their game sizes. In what dimension do these guys live that this makes any sort of sense?
