If there's one thing that there's no shortage of, it's third-party controllers. I'm constantly amazed at how many folks buy these things to save $5 or $10 bucks. What's the appeal? Lower cost? According to our pals at engadget, the new offerings come in wired and wireless models and both feature law-suit inducing SIXSENSE motion control technology. You can choose from a rainbow of options, including red, blue, black, or silver.
Personally, I'm not moving to a new PS3 controller until I find one with the SIXAXIS design, but with a bit more "heft." That thing is lighter than a feather.
