I personally have bought four games and I have told my self that I need to beat one of them before I get a new one. The game I choose to beat was Super Mario World. And it is much harder then I remember it being. But I am having loads of fun playing it.

Drink more Duffbeer!!!

What has held me back is that my local EBgames has been sold out of Wii Point Cards for a while now.

I know you can easily buy points online with a credit card, but as Nintendo fan I feel the need to buy a physical card that I can keep. (That and I do not have a credit card).

I've bought Gradius, Ice Hockey, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, and The Legend of Zelda.

I expect to eventually buy LttP and OoT. OoT is a higher priority. I recently beat LttP on the GBA so whatevs. But I'm itching to try OoT again.

I like virtual console for the NES games, and there haven't been too many I've been interested in downloading. The one I'm waiting on the most is Pro Wresting, which I hope they'll release soon.

That and I had a problem using my Visa debit card online to buy Wii points. Dunno what the issue was, so I just went and bought another Wii points card.

I'm just not that nostalgic. I'll buy golden eye if it comes out, but other than that... I've purchased all the games I'm interested in. Possibly Majora's Mask

i have alot of these VC gems, too many to count. A primary reason for getting the WII was when I heard about the VC. I have 2 WII games, but I certainly spend a lot more time playing Mario 64 and that phat Zelda 64 game, and Kid Icarus. I also see it as a comparison to Blockbuster, for about the same amount of money as it costs to rent a game, you can buy one.

I haven't bought any because my neighbor discovered password protection on his wireless network shortly before I got my Wii, and I have yet to acquire my own. >=)

I only own Super Mario World right now.

I don't own more because overall, the selection isn't that great. Of the great games they have, I already own them in other versions.

Legend of Zelda (GBA and GameCube)
OoT (Gamecube twice)
Super Mario 64 (DS)
Super Mario Bros. (GBA)
Donkey Kong Country (GBA)

Outside of those, I can't think of too many must-have games. I am looking to pick up Super Ghouls and Ghosts though. And I've heard good things about Sword of Vermillion.

I just hate that there wasn't an option for zero! I know there were quite a lot of people who were asking about that and that there were probably a lot more who didn't vote b/c of that.

Until Nintendo improves their VC a little I will just have to stick with XBLA. I am truly waiting for Earthbound and Goldeneye (and will not hold my breathe on that one) but till then it will be zero.

And what about online capabilities? That is something the vc lacks also. Oh well.

How did I miss that poll? I would have been in the 4 to 6 VC games range... if I get A Link to the Past sometime soon... I'd have 7 VC games... My iPod has been telling me to get that game (It's a shuffle, and it really likes ALTTP's Dark World right now)...

And I'm waiting for Star Fox 64, Super Metroid, and Kirby Super Star. Once those games come out, my Wii will be my ultimate console of greatness. I'd probably never touch an Emulator again... Oh and add Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger to that list. FFVI came out on GBA recently, so I don't really care if that makes it to VC.

I bought a few games myself.. though they're usually games I never played but were interested in playing. If it's a game i already owned, I wuoldn't bother.. but Kid Icuris... I never played that, or the original metroid.

I have:

Altered Beast
Bomberman '93
Dungeon Explorer
Gunstar Heroes
Kid Icarus
R-Type
Super Mario Bros.
ToeJam & Earl

I'm waiting for and will definitely buy:

Splatterhouse
Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels
Super Mario RPG

Not sure what else yet. I might also have to get Duck Hunt just 'cuz it's Duck Hunt. I'm curious as to how that game will translate from the light technology to the IR technology. If it means a reticule it might ruin the fun.

I only bought two because I still have all of my old Nintendo consoles hooked up to my television. I am having a good time with Link to the Past though. I missed out on the SNES version and I didn't like playing it on the GBA.

Here's my list, copied straight from my "registered games" list off Nintendo.com

1. F-Zero
2. Altered Beast
3. Super Mario 64
4. Ecco the Dolphin
5. Golden Axe
6. Gunstar Heroes
7. Ristar
8. Toe Jam & Earl
9. Sim City
10. Bomberman '93
11. Bonk's Adventure
12. Super Star Soldier
13. Contra III: The Alien Wars
14. Super Castlevania IV
15. Super Mario Bros.
16. Alien Crush
17. Moto Roader
18. Legend of Zelda, The: A Link to the Past
19. Mario Kart 64
20. Comix Zone
21. Bonanza Bros.
22. Gain Ground
23. Elevator Action
24. Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts

I also have like 5000 points loaded up and ready for next monday. I love the VC, but I love the system games as well, just topped 14 games on my Wii games list.

My top three most played (one being the most):

3. Super Mario 64
2. ToeJam and Earl
1. Super Mario World

I've bought so many VC games that I am starting to run out of mem, so I've been deleting the ones I don't play. I wish they'd release a hard drive or something, so I could have them all installed at once.

I only got a few just to try it. I would buy more, but I refuse to as long as Nintendo holds on to their bullshit about "We'll only let you buy VC games with points, and we'll only let you buy points in increments of 1000". Until Nintendo pulls their heads out of their asses regarding that, I'm won't buy another VC game.

Abscissa for every one person like you who refuses to buy points, there are 10 like me who love the system. I don't see it changing any time soon.
