I agree with Tekken being a champ, but maybe we could have bumped Raw vs. Smackdown and added DBZ Shin Budokai as #5.

oh come-on smackdown vs raw? Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai is a great game with good graphics and superior controls for the psp that should never be left out of any fighting games list for the psp.

Re #3 "PSP has the top portable games ever created! In ALL Categories!!!"

I guess that is why this site is 'FanBoy'.

I wish it were true, but here are a few:
- Adventure: Hotel Dusk is better than anything on the PSP
- Strategy: Advance Wars and Age of Empires are better than anything on the PSP.
- Platformers: DS, obviously.
- RPG: the GBA still wipes the floor with both the DS & PSP, but with FF III and Lunar Knights I'd put the DS ahead of PSP with Dungeon Siege and Valkyrie Profile. Hopefully the upcoming PSP stuff will tip that balance. (yes Tales of Eternia is really good, but it is not a US release)

... and so on. My point is that each system has strengths - could you imagine playing a typical sports or racing game or beat 'em up on the DS? I sure couldn't ...

It utterly sickens me that WWE and Def Jam are even on that list, much less above SFA3 and Guilty Gear respectively. I dont personally enjoy Tekken but I can understand why it would be many players first choice. The the other two just make me want to vomit...

While i do agree that the ds has better rpg and strategy games (for now) the psp has much better adventure games (Gta, MGS, Pirate just to name a few) and a really good platformer (Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters.

Those aren't adventures, they are sandbox games and/or action games. Adventure games are things like Hotel Dusk, or the recent Sam & Max for the PC.

SVR is a wrestling game NOT a fighter.

differnt Genre all together.

and the US Judgement doesn't have the superb slash.

I remember when I first tried Hotel Dusk. I worked in comics, so the art style blew me away. I played for a few hours the first night, and proceeded to recommend it to my friends that still play video games. I'm now 5 hours in, and I may be 10 minutes from passing it, but I may never finish it because no game has bored me this much in a long while. Menial tasks like communication with Mila have me falling asleep on my stylus (ask a question, tell her to write it down, double-click the notebook, click the notebook icon, read it, react to it, ask another question, rinse, repeat). Maybe I don't have the patience I used to have? The plot defines "convoluted", and it stopped being compelling after a couple of hours. I really wanted to like that game =(

I suppose it's better than any psp adventure game since I can't name a traditional adventure game on the psp, anyway.

As far as fighting games go, both Jump games and Bleach DS were excellent on the DS.

Tekken was (is) amazing, heads and shoulders above the rest IMHO.

And follow what vR mentioned, Bleach DS 2nd is an amazing game too. I would love to see that moved over - if possible - to the PSPs wide, lush screen.
