Free Cadillac download for Test Drive Unlimited

We've got some more XBLM downloading to do today in the form of Test Drive Unlimited content. So, let's get right into it. There are a few packages that cost Microsoft Points, but one is a free download for the Cadillac CTS-V. The other paid downloads include the Test Drive Racers Guild #2 which consists of seven vehicles and will set you back a moderate 350 Points. The other download is the Hardcore Mode which is a more realistic game mode, specifically enhanced for the wireless racing wheel, and is available for 160 Microsoft Points. It may be time to dust off the ole' copy of Test Drive Unlimited and download new content, if not at least for a free Cadillac CTS-V ... you know, because it's free.

Bastards! I dropped $150 on a wireless steering wheel based on the fact TDU was listed as a supported game, and after a couple of months of the wheel sitting unused since the one (non-Forza 2) game I care to play using it didn't yet support it.... now they're CHARGING me for force feedback? I was planning on buying Hardcore mode already... but it's wrong on so many levels to expect people to pay for full controller functionality...

AOE: I'm not sure I'd dive out to start wagging my finger at Eden. I mean... from what I can tell, they've pretty much been screwed since day 1. They released a high end product for a the budget price of $40, and have been busting their ass ever since to fix all the usual bugs, exploits, and issues that's part and partial to anything that can be labled "MMO." On top of that, I don't think Atari really thought the whole game through, as it's kinda on the short side, and doesn't offer much in the way of longetivity.

Finally... it sounds like atari and eden were completely blindsided by the force feedback racing wheel thing... so...

honestly... I really like TDU... and so if I could help them continue to improve the game for a couple of extra bucks... who am I to argue? it's not like you NEED to get this patch. and it's not like EA selling existing in game content to lazy gamers :P

Looking at the image, all I can say is wow. Real life needs some better graphics.

@Kritz in case you didn't notice, but at the bottom right corner it says 'not in game'.
I felt the same way until I read that part. The car looks awesome.
