"eventually will just give up on the Wii altogether"

I dunno. Judging by what I witnessed at Target, GameStop and Best Buy last night, I think they've given up on the PS3. Coulda bought a dozen last night. Bet all those goon who paid over $1,000 two months ago feel like idiots now.

wii's continue to fly off of the shelves at an incredible rate. and although, the number of people camping out before a store opens has somewhat diminished (since january), it hasn't stopped the systems from selling out within 15 or 30minutes after the fact.

I don't think nintendo has to start worrying just yet. I'm amazed that the ds lites are still just as hard to find as the wii systems are.

I think what its going to come down to is us surrounding Reggie with baseball bats and threatening him until he tells us everything he knows about online play.
