Today's most modified game video: Super Doom Mario

In a way it's sad to see these little Mario villains get blasted away Doom-style ... but on the other hand, it is also extremely satisfying. TheLastBoss featured this video and offered up their own take, "This honestly looks more fun than a lot of Doom 3, I'd pay for it."

While we doubt you'll ever see it officially on the Virtual Console, you know someone is going to hack this onto there and we'll see people playing it with the Wii-mote. Just wait.

The bears are from an anime called Excel Saga. Though I have no clue why they would be in this game.

super cool mod, but needs a bit of touch-ups. Some of the carcases at the end I noticed were still that of doom + some of the grunting needs to be changed to marios voice. Also, get rid of those yellow bears, their totally out of place. Otherwise, spot on.

@3 - This was done on a source port. There's some terrific ones out there if you get the urge to play doom.

I miss Doom mods terribly. I made some awesome DeHackEd patches back in the day.

They're Puchuus from the anime Excel Saga. They're alien invaders that are super-cute and cuddly - until you hurt them, then they get ugly man-faces and gruff voices. I don't really know why they're mixed mized in with a bunch of Mario characters (there's certainly plenty other enemies they could have used) but they fit in well enough, I suppose.

To look up in Doom you would have to use a source port. Original Doom has no vertical movement - no free look, no jump and no crouch. Basically, just turn, use and fire.

I just dont get why people who don't even own a Wii have their panties in a bunch? Why do you care that I spent $250 on a console (that, even with your criticism is still worth it!)? Why do you care what kind of games I like? Really?

Go play your PS3 or Xbox 360. I'm happy with my Wii purchase. I forgot how much I like Nintendo games (I haven't owned a Nintendo console since NES).
