But since I don't have a psp anymore nor do I wish to spend more than 50$ on one, I wasn't aware that it was region free. It's good to know. when psp price drops I'll definitely look to picking this up.

Why can't they make a Guitar Hero for the PSP? Hear me out.. The PSP has a mini USB port, why not make a mini guitar to plug into it? PS: to the comment re: guitar hero for PSP, great idea...I'm still waiting for an adapter to use a PS2 dual-shock controller via mini-USB. Gitaroo Man has a set path through the game and likewise, has a limited soundtrack because of that. Gitaroo Man also has a dramatically different way of inputting the tones. Guitaroo Man more closely resembles titles like Parappa The Rappa or Space Channel 5.

DJ Max Portable however more closely resembles titles like DDR, PIU, Beatmania, and Pop'N Music. DJ Max 2 will have about 60 all new songs (according to the trailer... found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brRQHFruRE0) and features interesting animated videos in the backgrounds. Also, while Beatmania has a HUGE learning curve, nOOb Beatmania players have found DJ Max to be quite approachable.
