A fake metal box, with a plastic slipcase.

Yeah...that would probably do it.

The Extra planet won't happen.... You can buy that on Live 6 months after the game shipes..

Who cares aboud that trophy on your penis shelf?
not me I don't have any friends to impress, they don't care for games (I do have friends).

Just give me the game and let it be great. But not be for I finish Oblivion....

Apparently not much.

Ive bought 4 collectors editions so far (Halo 2, GoW, Lost Planet, V.Pinata) and gained nothing but frustrating cases to deal with. The Halo and Lost Planet ones being the least frustrating but I still threw them in blank DVD cases instead.

Oh, I cant forget the second disc that is always loaded with videos I could care less about and usually a goofy little art book too.

Will I ever learn? Probably not.

It would be nice if it came with some exclusive content, like a special weapon or armor. I hate the usual collector editions that have the stupid metal box or case, or walkthrough or game centric coin, or making of dvd. Give us something we can really enjoy. Hell I'd even be happy with a keycain or pendent to display my mass effect fanboyishness, lmao. Overall though, the best idea is some kinda exclusive extra like a weapon or armor that would not be a big deal for those who don't have it but is a nice bonus for those who do pay the extra 10.

Yeah, I'm real happy I dropped the extra $5 on Jade Empire's special edition back in the day... NOT! Haha, right, guys?

I'm a big BioWare fan, so I really hope this game isn't as much of a disappointment as Jade was.

I wouldn't mind dropping the extra $10 dollars even if the special edition had very little on it. If the game lives up to its expectations, i want to support more games of this caliber any way i can as a gamer.

(However, i do hope it has plenty of great extra features)

A making of DVD would be nice, perhaps something including how they used the Unreal Engine. A different box doesn't warrant a $10 hike if you compare it to something like Oblivion which included some maps, art book, making of DVD and the retarded coin. This isn't EA or Need for Speed: Carbon so I'd suspect it'd be a little more than what that included.
