Balki was that gen's Borat in a way.

They couldn't have another show like that because of the stereotype sensitivities now days.

Perfect Strangers is probably something we can all get behind. Why it's not on DVD boggles my mind.

Perfect Strangers, more like Perfect Crap. The only thing perfect strangers that I would get behind is the master tapes if they needed a push into the fire.

and its comments like that that make joystiq a pain in the ass to read. I'm out for the rest of the weekend. At least I know that while my life has sucked, at least I'm a better person than Shagi.

I remember this one episode where Balki was upset because his bag of chocolate chip cookies did not have the 100 chips of chocolate that was advetised.

So they made a big deal out of it.

It was absolute garbage..............but, MAN I really did love that show.

Joystiq,

Please post a new story. If Larry and Balki are the first people greeting me the next time I load up the website, I'm going to vomit all over my keyboard. Thank!

I loved Perfect Strangers! But I do think it had something to do with being 10 years old when it was on.
I'd love to watch it again just to see if it really was any good.

When you're...
Rollin' out the dough
Just make sure you roll it slow

If you make the dough too thick
Bibby-bobka make you sick

Something something...

Anyone else notice how they kept subtly changing the set on that show without explaining? The entire layout would get these structural modifications and no one ever mentioned why.

Yeah... Mrs. Winslow was the elevator operator at the newpaper office (which was in Chicago), and I know she mentioned her husband Carl who was a cop, but I'm not sure whether or not he appeared on the show.

So you gotta thank Balki for Steve Urkel... oh wai--
