New Ferrari game speeding onto PS3

You know what the PS3 really needs? Another racing game! If F1, MotorStorm, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo HD, Ridge Racer, Full Auto and the rest aren't enough to satisfy your unhealthy addiction to competitive racing, then we've got good news for you:

"System 3 will first launch a cutting-edge racing game based on the Ferrari Challenge series featuring real cars, real tracks and true Ferrari racing dynamics. The launch platform for Ferrari Challenge is the PlayStation 3 and the game has been developed to maximise the technology in the new console format such as a 16-player feature rich simultaneous online mode with elements not yet seen in any race game to-date."

The news behind the news here is that this game is going multi-console, but the PS3 version is the lead development platform. Let's hope that this is a trend that continues... especially with non-racing games.

You can never have too many driving games, especially when Ferraris are involved.

At least we don't get mostly shooters ;)

Of all those games you mentioned, only one can seriously taken as a racing game, guess which. I'm not saying theyre bad, but we need some competition on the serious racers, not just these fancy arcade.. things. Still, Motorstorm is likely in my shopping cart next friday...
