I've heard of some folks having good results by using a head-on and profile picture for the face mapping. Instead of trying to keep the baby still, they could have just taken the appropriate pictures and used them.

I found it difficult to map my toddlers face due to him not sitting still and poor lighting in my living room. The easiest way I found is to take a picture with my digital camera, put the picture on my laptop, and then point the vision camera at the laptop screen. Or if you like, find a picture of your favorite celebrity and map that. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a good profile shot of a celebrity. Just find a picture of someone that has a similar profile and skin tone and that should be good enough.

I gotta say, I tried to capture both my two little girls faces on here and they just wouldn't work. The lighting couldn't have been any better and they both did a wonderful job of keeping very still. But for some reason it just won't get it on there (my wife and I have no problems getting our own faces on it, even it poor lighting conditions. Any tips or suggestions?

No harness required. Digi-mask just needs to snap a shot from the front and the side. That's it. Lighting and background is everything.
