Valve's digital distribution service Steam will begin offering games from the Eidos catalog. This means Tomb Raider, Commandos and the Hitman escapades of Agent 47 will easily download to your PC in an impulsive shopping spasm.After the initial offering, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Championship Manager 2007 will be available online. The idea of playing TR:A on our PC using the Xbox 360 controller adapter might ease the pain that this game still hasn't been announced for the Xbox 360. More games will be announced in the near future. We now sit back, drink some cocoa and wait for more publishers to announce or join up to major digital distribution networks. Digital distribution may not kill brick and mortar stores, but like iTunes, it's gonna bring the pain.
