Carl's Jr: F*ck you I'm eating.

And yeah, those two are totally gay for each other.

you want to call games art yet you want them to be created by vote and comittee?

sorry you can't have it both ways.

To all the people pissing and moaning about the dialogue, what exactly are you looking for? Give us a game example or something. Or are you just looking for something you've yet to see but will know it when you see it type of thing?

Please, give me an example without using Half-Life or some awesome greatest ever type FPS. Give me an example of a solid AA type game, like Army of Two, that has the style of dialogue you are looking for.

Honestly, I like this way more than GRAW, COD, Rainbow Six, Gears, Crackdown, and Lost Planet. Those are the shooters I've played lately. It is different.

But then again, I though Gears had decent dialogue as well (I looked past the whole everybody is Vin Diesel part and thought everything was consistent in a way believable with the rest of the game).

let's all just rag on a sweet game because the cinematic trailer had funny, but cheesy dialogue.

and people comparing this game to Gears are nuts. Gears wasn't co-op. gears was multiplayer. yeah, you could play through a mission at the same time, but you never interacted with your partner. you just ran along and shot stuff.

does dialogue really detract that much from your gameplay? Crackdown is huge and its dialogue is way worse and insanely repetative. no one ever complains about Mario's complete lack of ability to say anything other then "Yippie!" (here i go making the Nintendo fans angry again... can't wait for this one to blow up).

let's just relax and give it a change, eh?

don't get me wrong, i love Gears, but this game, wow, this game is going to be nuts.

I really don't understand why everyone is so up in arms about the dialog. The characters are two complete idiot gun jocks. Seriously, walking bullet sponges wearing old school hockey masks. They're morons. They SHOULD sound like morons. And Joystiq, please give the "while we're posting an article about a character let's drop the implication that they might be gay" thing. Is there any point to that?

I saw in mythbuster that get cover behind a car doesn't help you at all. Use a car door as a bullet shield, the worst idea

the dialogue is part of what drew me into this game to begin with... its cheesy, yes, but it actually works with the game. im hoping EA doesnt screw this game up.. im looking forward to it, and it could easily become my favorite game.. if the co op is done right.

This game will so totally be awesome. It just might be the sole reason for me to get a ps3. And frankly, I prefer dialogue that is cheesy (MGS, RE, DMC) than that which falls flat or makes for a convoluted story.(MMX4)

The intentional awfulness wasn't executed correctly, so it's simply awful.

Take it from me, Tascan is constantly forcing the game's development team to work grueling schedules to produce videos and demos like this one, just to see how the consumer will react to his ideas.

The thing is the Dev team has known for years what the game should be like. Unfortunately, the dialogues, the voice actors, the ridiculous slapstick humour are just a few of numerous ideas which have been -suggested- (read: imposed) by Tascan to the Dev team, who I might also add are more than qualified to deliver an awesome game.

Unfortunately for them, they have to contend Alain Tascan's daily brain farts. This and the poor management skills from some of the man's close friends and incompetent lackeys driven by their personal agendas.

For anyone reading this, I can guarantee you that everything you like about this video came from the Dev team. Evrything else is courtesy of Mr. Tascan.
