Wow! Lots of stuff!
Earth Defense Force looked pretty cool on Gamespot's preview
I've only played the original Armored Core but thought it was awesome - might want to check that out on 360
TMNT might be fun?
What are Marble Mania and Wing Island?
Wonder if my girlfriend would like Theme Park DS for her birthday...
Damn! Big week!
diskoboy @ Mar 19th 2007 12:10PM
Wow - impressive week.
-AC4
-EDF2017
-Shivering Isles
and finally, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - The fist PC game I'm buying after a year long drought. And the wait for the game, itself, was almost as bad as Half-Life 2.

ridestowe @ Mar 19th 2007 12:28PM
SSSSSSTALKER!
sheppy @ Mar 19th 2007 12:28PM

ZOMG! ZOMG!
I've been waiting for this!!!
Will definitely be picking this up!
Flit @ Mar 19th 2007 12:30PM
@sheppy: ??
Your ?comedy? confuses me.
Jack of No Trades @ Mar 19th 2007 12:31PM
Developers have gotten lazy. The release a cheap ass game like the new TMNT. It could have been way way better. You guys remember TMNT Tournament Fighters on SNES? That was a great fighter. A remake of that game would have made my year.
It pisses me off when designer/developers don't use thier heads.
nepos13 @ Mar 19th 2007 12:35PM
Shivering Isles and Earth Defense Force looks pretty cool. Something I can trade that Def Jam Icon for while the value is still up there. Has anyone heard anything about the TMNT game?
sheppy @ Mar 19th 2007 12:38PM
@Flit. It's not my comedy. Some tragic individual (possibly many) have decided it's a gas to post under my name.
john @ Mar 19th 2007 12:39PM
I'll be watching the reviews of that Marble Mania game for the Wii. It could be what Monkey Ball should have been.
shase @ Mar 19th 2007 12:43PM
Shining force exa...
sheppy @ Mar 19th 2007 12:45PM
I really wish that Joystiq would make it so that the passwords would actually limit who can post using my name. This is becoming very tedious.
DukeFett @ Mar 19th 2007 12:46PM
Yes it is Virtua, not Virtual.
Also TMNT: The Tournament Fighters was a terrible game, I really regret buying that one.
Jack of No Trades @ Mar 19th 2007 12:50PM
For its time it was a great fighter that displayed the "kickassnes" of the TMNT. Even if they made a TMNT game that had the combat system of MK and the visuals of Gears would be awesome. Im sick of these pussyass TMNT bring back the comics.
murph @ Mar 19th 2007 12:53PM
VT3 on X360.
PS3 Fanboys, enjoy your VT3 online play. oh that's right there is NO online play for the PS3 version. ha-ha.
Intentless @ Mar 19th 2007 12:55PM
Why can't oblivion just leave me alone... My soul... Gone.....
Poisoned Al @ Mar 19th 2007 12:58PM
The big new this week is Stalker, yet the artical is headed up with the image of a brainless movie cash-in.
k.
SuicideNInja @ Mar 19th 2007 1:03PM
STALKER? Why not PANICS? LOL
I'm pissed no one on my friends list plays FEAR. It makes for some awesome multiplayer.
Anyway...I'm glad it will be a few weeks before a decent game comes out. I have a lot to catch up on. If I could stop playing Halo 2 for a minute, I might get some other gaming done!
We need those RPGs, and soon. I'm sorry...but Oblivion doesn't count.
velocitystrike @ Mar 19th 2007 1:07PM
EUFA exclusive to PSP and PS2, is it? Someone was copying and pasting...
velocitystrike @ Mar 19th 2007 1:07PM
Oh, and getting it wrong ;-)
Darkness @ Mar 19th 2007 1:09PM
A lot of stuff coming out this week on all systems. Looks like I'll be picking up The Godfather: Blackhand Edition. Gotta lay the smack down on shop owners. :D
hvnlysoldr @ Mar 19th 2007 1:13PM
Custom Robo Arena
pseudo.hero @ Mar 19th 2007 1:27PM
Isn't Shivering Isles supposed to come out next week?
razer @ Mar 19th 2007 1:30PM
Wow, Godfather was a real stinker. TMNT is actually really fun, even though there is no multiplayer. It has a real Prince of Persia gameplay feel to it. I got to play a bit of it and will pick that up along with Earth Defense Force, AC4 and Virtua Tennis. Oblivion expansion is going to have to wait, I am so burnt out on that game and it has taken enough of my time. It's going to be a $pendy week..
Brian @ Mar 19th 2007 1:31PM
I thought Shivering Isles was shipping next week?
Hiroken @ Mar 19th 2007 1:43PM
Armored Core 4 or Oblivion? I can't decide! I LOVE the AC series and am eager to take my AC online, but at the same time, Oblviion is supposed to be the greatest game ever blah blah blah...What do you say Joystiq readers?
~
Shagittarius @ Mar 19th 2007 1:48PM
I haven't played any of the AC games but Oblivion is certainly a great game.
Jake @ Mar 19th 2007 1:53PM
@33
I'd say trade your PS3 in for a 360. Seriously though, Oblivion is a much better game than AC4. It isn't even close. But if you aren't into the Oblivion sort of thing, get AC. I will be renting AC4 at the very most.
Shmil @ Mar 19th 2007 2:15PM
hooo dawgie Berkley's Bass Tournameny is gonna hit this week i can't wait!
michiyoyoshiku @ Mar 19th 2007 2:17PM

Theme Park for DS? As in the Bullfrog's Theme Park? Man I love that game.
Sign me up for Theme Park DS and STALKER.
MysticX @ Mar 19th 2007 2:42PM
Great list of games for Wii and DS, even GC!!!
meddow @ Mar 19th 2007 2:46PM
Theme Park
The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
Earth Defense Force 2017

eeek my wallet!
Vidikron @ Mar 19th 2007 2:48PM
Wow.. a lot of excitement for a list that looks rather mundane to me. Some good games in there, but nothing that really 'wow's me.
Poisoned Al @ Mar 19th 2007 3:06PM
@Vidikron
*sniff sniff* I smell console owner.
crustached @ Mar 19th 2007 3:07PM
Anyone else notice that there are two Raphaels and two Leonardos in the picture? Reminds of those early TMNT games for NES where they all had red bandanas.
Vidikron @ Mar 19th 2007 3:10PM
@42
I don't know what you think I'm posting on.... everyone has a PC these days, get with the times. Anyway, quite a few people have been posting about STALKER, but so far it has a Gamrrankings rating aroun 81%. Good but not great territory most of the time... again, hardly anything that 'wow's me. Last week saw God of War II... not THAT is a game to get excited about.
LongshotX @ Mar 19th 2007 3:23PM
Cooking Mama is Hardcore? Since when? And since when is cooking virtual food cool?
Diman @ Mar 19th 2007 3:23PM
Ah why is ubisoft shafting PS3 releases of their crappy ports, none the less I'm not even buying them.
crustached @ Mar 19th 2007 3:24PM
I believe it was a little something called sarcasm, Longshotx.
RedCrake @ Mar 19th 2007 3:24PM
Why is it that a "game drought" always seems to be followed by an ejaculation of new titles?
Its not like I'm gonna have trouble choosing, but still...could we spread it out a bit? I guess January and February were just the foreplay before March's explosive orgasm of gaming.
vadermaggot @ Mar 19th 2007 3:32PM
oblivion will again take my life away
Tel Prydain @ Mar 19th 2007 4:08PM
It wasn't sarcasm, doofus. In this case 'Hard Core' is referring to some one who obsesses over games, collects games and spends a large amount of time/money on games. When gamers meet, this version of Hard Core is normally what they are talking about.
You may be mistaking it for the version of hard core that means “games-with-high-violence-and-swearing-so-that-annoying-12-year-olds-think-it’s-the-aws0mez-l0Lz-rotflmaoz-!!1!1!11one1!!!”. I can see that you must normally use the second terminology.
