Today's best-looking mech video: Armored Core comparison

I would think that someone as intellectually gifted as sheppy would understand that to truly defile his good name requires the antithesis of being sheppy.

The 360 version is way too dark and the PS3 version is a bit too bright. I'm assuming there is some sort of in-game brightness controls, so i think if you adjusted each one there would be no difference. There was even one time when they were still outside that the video switched between systems and I didn't notice that it had switched.

When I first watched the video, I was going to give the win to 360. Then when the second part came on, and I liked the way the PS3 looked, after this I decided to watch it in HD, and here are my comments:

PS3 - too light, not much shades
360 - the booster fire looks cartoony, they were probably trying to make it blurry because of the heat, but it doesn't look right, also some parts way too dark, I prefer to be able to see where I'm going.

Overall the game doesn't look as good as it should have, but I will most likely get it for PS3.

Obviously someone at Gametrailers screwed up on the capture. The 360 ISN'T that dark - I downloaded the Japanese version of the demo and it looks fine.

Either way this isn't a system pushing game to begin with. They'll both be about the same. End of story.

Sorry, did I miss something? Is the PS3 version actually more expensive than a normal PS3 game ($59.99)?

You are obviously a liar and a cheat. You've got your brightness turned up so that you can see all the dark scenes in Fear, you loser.

Why do we care again? The game sucks anyway...

i think i figured out why they look so different. im think they where played with different setups. different TVs or inputs. cause if you watch both movies closely you can tell they are being played by 2 different people. the one playing 360 is doing good and killing shit and not getting hit much. the ps3 guy often swings his sword at the air and shoots at nothing. and does a horrible time dodging shots.

just take another look and watch closely. it is clearly not the same person. which makes me think they where played in 2 different places. which may be the reason they look to different.

Well, all in all, they look roughly the same. Aside from what appears to me, vastly misadjusted displays, and the 360 has much richer explosionsand smoke effects.

Though one also has to take into account that AC4 was originally supposed to be exclusive to the 360, so it`s already geared towards the 360 hardware. Ontop of that, the 360 is easier to develop for given the fact that it has an abundance of development kits out in circulation.

So with that in mind, and the already tried and tested hardware, its a given that the 360 version will generally look better, or even the same in a multi platform game.

the 360 version looks better, sharper visuals everything looks crisp and clean, whereas the ps3 version looks muddy with not enough detail. i always knew that the graphics card on the 360 was better, but i didn't expect to see this much of a difference.

Woah...wait a minute!

I just got this game...It is NOT that dark! What are they trying to pull here?

Not only is it not that dark...but it looks as bright as the ps3 shown here.
