Another week has delivered us some goodies on the Virtual Console service and another week we have played them and prepared a post that explains which you should download and which you shouldn't. Excitebike is a game that should bring back fond memories for all of us and the VC port of the game is dead-on accurate. Pulling a wheelie so big that you fall back and break your head are just as fun as the first time we placed the cartridge into our system and we wholeheartedly suggest you download this excellent game right away.
Beyond Oasis - Sega Genesis - 1 player - 800 Wii Points

Beyond Oasis is a lot like The Legend of Zelda and Sega's desire to achieve the success that Nintendo's franchise has received is evident in this spectacular game. It's not only fun and exciting, but this game is lengthy. Using the different spirits and traversing the large game world are good enough excuses to drop the $8 bucks it'll cost you for one of our favorite games of all time. Go! Go now!
SPLATTERHOUSE - TurboGraphix16 - 1 player - 600 Wii Points

Whether you're a fan of gore-filled horror movies or side-scrolling beat-em-ups, SPLATTERHOUSE is a wonderfully fun and intense game. Not only that, but this game single-handedly paved the way for the survival-horror genre as we know it. So, do yourself a favor and download the game. It's a bloody fantastic time.
