Weekly Webcomic Wrapup, now with a case of the Mondays
Mondayitis, or Blue Monday, or "having a case of the Mondays" is a phrase for describing the mundaneness of returning from a work-free weekend to an 8-hour shift. Wikipedia credits the term with the film Office Space, but we're pretty sure the phrase (and certainly the feeling) originates from a much earlier time. The webcomic wrapup is celebrating Mondayitis, having missed its Saturday date due to personal reasons. The results will subsequently be determined on Thursday. Here our are picks for the week's best game-related webcomics; be sure to vote for your favorite!

Okay, how do you sugest these? While this "Church of Poisoned Minds" didn't kill me laughing, it's way funnier this this lot:

I found the first one the funniest, with a close second from mario getting impaled after going through a pipe.
the 300 was pretty funny too, but only if you have seen the movie.
The worst one was hat crackdown one. I cant believe anybody voted for it. It must of been written by a 10 year old. Theres nothing funny about it.
And it seems PA gets lots of votes, while having a not so funny comic?
Poisoned Al @ Mar 19th 2007 9:21AM
PA this week wasn't just not funny. It was so unfunny it into a rear form of anti-humour, that will cause a huge explosion if it ever comes into contact with anything remotely amusing.

In other news, I REALLY need to proof read what I type before hitting the submit buton.

2pstart took some time to get, but in the end I understand it. I found it actually pretty clever, not as good as previous ones, but still good nonetheless. Seems that it was not a good crop this week, though. Has no flair.
You know, the Nazis had flair that they made the Jews wear. Oh, and Ross, I believe you have my stapler?
Defenestrator2.0 @ Mar 20th 2007 11:34AM
Oh, and Tip of the Sword:
STILL NO FUNNAY. WHAR FUNNY? FUNY GET!

Muku @ Mar 19th 2007 11:06AM
Another pisspoor weekend. :(
Antonio @ Mar 19th 2007 11:07AM
Yeah pretty weak comics all around.
Christopher7xii @ Mar 19th 2007 11:17AM
Why don't you guys have a "this week sucked..." vote? There's been more than one occasion where i'd use that...
Jack of No Trades @ Mar 19th 2007 11:31AM
I don't know about you guys but I thought St. Patricks Day was fun...just parts that I can remember. The Pipe comic is somewhat funny.
Hellsing @ Mar 19th 2007 11:33AM
I'd say the picture for this week's wrap-up is funnier then any of the contestants.
Almadi @ Mar 19th 2007 11:37AM
And this one is a freebee:

But don't vote for it :D
pete @ Mar 19th 2007 3:24PM
for the Crackdown one, why would a grown man be wearing a diaper?
James @ Mar 19th 2007 3:34PM
Why does this ALWAYS Happen. The PA comic always has the most votes and it's usually the most not funny one out of all of them. There was ONE time where a funny PA comic was on here and I voted for it because it was funny, and it ended up not winning to something not funny -.-
I voted for Extra Life because it was the only one that made me chuckle.

@ #17:
Well, gangsters run around and get into a whole lot of illegal antics, some even warranting police (or other) shootings. Now, if you knew that there was a possibility that you could die from something you do daily, wouldn't you wear something to protect your good thievin' pants from being spoiled when you're finally taken down?
Dominik @ Mar 19th 2007 7:32PM
Why does anyone else but VGCats and PA still bother? They aren't funny. It's like those geeks in school who tried to impress people with jokes about D&D which no one understood nor found funny...
Imadogg99 @ Mar 19th 2007 7:37PM
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta
NeverSage @ Mar 19th 2007 8:15PM
I thought the Digital Unrest one was funny. Specifically the line "Sony's future is as bright as the 8 suns orbiting our beautiful planet"
Goldspire @ Mar 19th 2007 10:56PM
I believe you'd get your ass kicked saying something like that..
