It's official: Devil May Cry 4 on Xbox 360

Well, this was almost a no-brainer, since Capcom is probably thinking about those Dead Rising and Lost Planet sales, and thinking, "Well, if relatively unknown IPs get THAT sort of love from 360 owners, imagine what an established, popular IP will get".

i love that its coming to 360 capcom has been doing great business on the 360

with this game added with games like halo 3 forza mass effect and others I'm glad i bought my 360 first

I WAS getting a PS3 just for this game and Metal Gear Solid and Heavenly Sword. Well I guess now I got two games left on PS3 to look forward to unless Metal Gear pops up on 360 then I wont get a PS3.

I was definitely planning on buying a PS3 for this game and a couple other ones, but when i first heard the rumor of DMC4 coming to the 360 i held off. If MS keeps getting all these former PS3 exclusives it looks like i wont be buying a PS3.

I loved DMC1 and think that it was in the last game style not fully relised on the 360... suck that Sony... you need to go home (Pun intended :-)

Yes, I onced considered getting a PS3 just for DMC4, so this is damned fantastic.

I didn't care what system it comes out with but now with XBOX achievements I'll prolly go with the 360 version.

I wasn't going to buy a PS3 for this game, but I was going to be very sad, but now I'm happy. Simultaneous release? Even better.

Capcom know where it's at this generation apparently.

Capcom should keep this garbage on PS3... the only people that want this on the 360... are the ex-Sony fanboys... they aint from round here!

Funny is going to see the XBOX 360 version get better grades from magazines and websites and outsell the PS3 version by at least 50%.

PS3 is REALLY in trouble with it's Rolls Royce price and Kia exclusive games lineup.

Or, of course, it could be those of us who enjoyed the DMC games on the PS2, want to play the future games in the series, but aren't willing to purchase an entirely new system with a $600 price tag just to do it.

Man, as an owner of both I'm pumped. Odds are I'll just use my 360 for Halo and run everything else on the PS though. Hey, that means outside of Halo this will be the best game for the 360. Hell if I could get a copy of Halo for the PS3, I may be able to get a few pennies after I sell it...

First, I think there maybe something more behind the scenes going on between MS and Capcom, like a change of ownership. Second, The only game I want to buy the PS3 for is Tekken and if that happens then Sony loses $600 because I wouldn't need to puchase it.

Lately, there's been a lot of articles and talk about ps3 vs 360.... and one of the common arguements have been "well if one game gives you achievements, and the other does not... wouldn't people get the version with achievements?"

Personally, I thought it was a BS arguement, as I don't really care about the achievements, but I guess now that we have a big name, simultaneous multiplatform release... we'll see for ourselves.

Jesus the tips system you guys use suck. I submitted a tip for this same damn thing before Kotaku, PS3 fanboy and Joystiq could even run their articles, yet the article is not run until around 12 hours later giving the thanks to someone else entirely.

Either way, kinda glad this is happening. Don't have to shovel out 500 dollars(the 600 dollar doesn't really offer enough for me to care) for a PS3 just to get DMC4. Now I can save my cash for a little longer, and enjoy DMC4 whilst getting achievements.

DMC & DMC 3 were some of favorite PS2 games, (DMC 2 was a travesty, and the less said the better). DMC 4 was one of the few titles that Sony had to use as bait for the PS3, but no longer. The big third-party publishers/developers all seem to be releasing the big AAA titles for both the 360 & the PS3, and they would be foolish not to. The big name games cost alot of money to make, and in order to recoup the investment, all platforms get a version. Currently, the differences between a 360 version and a PS3 version of the same game are minor. The one big difference is a players Gamerscore earned thru Achievements. Some people don't care, but for many it's a reason to keep on playing a game just to earn some obscure Achievement. Most games on the 360 have an added replay value built into them, something that Sony's PS3 is noticeable lacking.
