#4: Those aren't "wired" controllers, per se--they are connected via the Play and Charge Kit.

Just because the controllers in the picture are wireless, and attached with the play and charge kit doesn't mean that bill gave him those controllers, or even that 360.

And I don't see how anyone's getting "free" stuff. Ever heard of this amazing concept called bartering?

Maybe the placement of the console will help Gates realize the 360 runs pretty hot - it's blowing on his knees!

Got it? His "shopping list" does not confirm anything. In fact, we're not even sure if this counts as a rumor because there isn't really any sound basis for any form of open-ended speculation - he declared and stamped his foot down quite clearly already: in no way, shape, or form is it an announcement. If anything, this is not much different from Hironobu Sakaguchi expressing his interest in bringing Final Fantasy over to the 360. We'd also like to add that Hideo Kojima himself even expressed his own thoughts of bringing MGS to the Wii. See? Developers do it all the time. Expressing one's interest in other consoles is normal. And just because someone is interested on something doesn't make that something automatically happen.

One way of getting rid of the core systems, give them away for free.

Wired controllers are often used in demos and at trade shows, where there may be RF interference and a communication error would be embarrassing. Go to any game show, like GDC or the old E3, and you'll see lots of wired controllers connected to premium and demo 360s.

They had to add to the headline ("or he's a good faker") If Mr. Harrison or Kuturagi from Sony go so far as holding the controller the wrong way; Joystiq is ALL OVER THEM like white on rice.

Bill Gates sucks; plain and simple! At least Reggie Fils Aime(nintendo) knows his product well enough to invest some time and learn the game in order to give someone some serious competition.
