For me, its when I am on the school bus, because two other kids have DSs, and during about half of my classes. :)

I am lucky to pick up and play my DS Lite even once a week. With work and our first child on the way, there's very little time for games. Plus, my wife tells me I need to grow up and stop playing video games!

I usually play abt 30 to 45 minutes after I shower at night around 10 PMish. Always when my boyfriend is not visiting. :D

I don't have much time to do real hard core game-playing :(

I wouldn't mind trying game night but I have no clue on IRC on a mac.

I live in Berkeley, CA and commute to San Francisco, CA for work on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) which means that I'm stuck with the huddled masses for about an hour and fourtyfive minutes or so every day. As long as I can find a seat, I'm playing my DS.

The biggest problem with this is that the games that I play have to be playable in 30-45 minute alotments of time, sometimes less. Longer RPGs are basically totally impossible, and even a game like Metroid Prime: Hunters has too long of levels for me to completely finish one before I get off the train and I don't really have time to play it when I get home. Sure, I could leave the game paused and pick it up the next day, but you'd be surprised how much you forget about what your in-game goals were in 12 hours.

On the bus going home, every work day. At night, when the missus and the kids are in bed, and on lazy Sundays.

@katherine: If you don't have an IRC client on your mac, just google "web based irc" and you should be able to find a web based applet that will allow you to join any IRC room.

I have about 90 minutes worth of bus and transfer time on my way to and from campus, so I play then and during the couple hours between classes.
