Firmware 1.60 revealed, except...

If you haven't gotten it already, the latest firmware update for the PS3 has been released. The things in the update have been talked about for a long, long time, so we almost don't feel the need to list them. But we'll hit the big points anyway.

• Background downloading (up to six things in queue, ability to play games confirmed)
• Folding @ Home program (get in on the Sunday Foldathon, help out your fellow man)
• Browser resolution adjustment (heh, I almost spelled browser with a Z)

In addition to those, the remote play functionality with the PSP has changed remained the same. While rumors suggested that upon the update, the PSP will connect to the PS3 at any WiFi hotspot, that has been denied us once again. Perhaps in summer, next to all those other big updates we can't really think to mention? Which features are you still waiting for Sony to give to us?
