I clicked on the comments section to type in exactly what you did. Well played. Seriously, could that article have been written any more dorkishly.

Pretty shameless cashing in on a Nintendo franchise, I must say. Wasn't Nintendo already working on a Duckhunt game? I thought they showed a shotgun periphreal and everything.

Wow. A new company just sprouted out of non-existence to beat Nintendo to the punch. Why didn't I think of that?

In other news, my new company, Xplode Fun Games is releasing Trooper Capers: Barrio on April 7th. In this edition, our lovable Troopers are going on Capers in the Barrio, and they switch between 2-D and 3-D environments.

It looks a lot like real duck hunting but with worse graphics. The problem with games like this is that they are intended for the people who love duck hunting so much that they really do sit outside while its raining, cold, foggy, snowing, or really anything else you can think of, to hunt.

This means they won't be inside to play it. At least with fishing games, I can stay inside when it's lightning out.

This is how we KNOW Joystiq Bloggers are NERDS:

"possibly in the presence of an adorable dog that every so often gets in the way of your deadly rifle."

Duck is hunted with Shotguns, not Rifles.
And since when were hunting dogs defined as, "cute?"

Oooooooooooooh, it's Duck *HUNT*! I get it now! And after all these years!!
...I never did understand why people would want to play a game about duck vagina, but this makes a lot more sense.

Also, why is that picture from Alex Ross's website?

Oh boy. This must mean that Kung-Fu and Ice Climber are right around the frakkin' corner. Excuse me while I wet myself.

In other news, Ford's Model T comes out next year, complete with hand crank and solid rubber tires! If you can't beat em, go back to a place in time when you were on top and pretend that the market is moving ahead without you.

Happy Thursday, fanboys, this troll's for you.

Seriously, though, couldn't this just be done as a Flash game?

Is there a Quail hunting co-op scenario in which you get to shoot your friend in the face?

@ Rinks, ignoring some of your content...

I would LOVE to see a New Ice Climber hit the Wii, something different from the original game, more like a co-op adventure or something...
