I really hope that Katamari keeps the tank style controls with this game. You could make it very challenging by using the nunchuck and wiimote as the two analog sticks.

BTW, chicken shoot is on the list twice.

I can't think of a more fun way to play katamari than with a wiimote. Plus, imagine how toned our forearms will get!

but the other one on the list that is interesting to me is High School Musical. Maybe it's because of the announcement that the theater production will start it's run here in Chicago, but also, I'd have no idea how'd that work. Is it a singing game?

Katamari + Nintendo = perfect match

I've had all my fingers crossed (and been typing at about 3wpm) ever since I heard this rumor.

I wonder what Ben 10 is going to be like? Will all the aliens, more than 10, be in there? I thought Elevator Action was that VC game? What's Family Fun and Spelling Spree?
I hope Katamari does come to Wii.

This and Sam and Max on the Wii Shop would be two games I'd buy. Of Course, I'd wait until I could convert my Wii points.

Actually, Orange Lounge Radio (www.orangeloungeradio.com) first broke the story about Beautiful Katamari. Your sister sites Xbox360 Fanboy and Joystiq both reported on this story on the 18th.

So while they did not report on the other games, I believe credit should be given to OLR for the Katamari story.

And also, if you go to a GameStop or a EBGames, you can ask for a list such as the one above and if the manager is nice, he/she will give it to you. I'm only an Sales Associate at EB, and I've seen that list in our computers for a while now, so it's certainly nothing top secret. I always give out the lists for people that want to pre-order games.

I can't really see how Katamari's current controls would translate with only one analog stick -- I don't know that I would like using the Wiimote as a joystick. Ooh! How about instead they take a page from the recent spate of Labyrinth-type games where the Wiimote controls the *ground*? You could tilt the ground and roll that way, and people/objects could slide around when gravity changes direction... no?

Well, I'm out of ideas then...

I have always been very loyal to nintendo. But, I will admit during the dark days of the Game Cube I did try out a "playstation 2". All the GTA sort of games, just seemed to be for people who dreamed they were something else. The librarian who found consolation in playing GTA at night. Regardless, I thought the Katamari game might have been one of the greatest and most addictive games ever. And my prayers have finally been answered. Rock on, Katamri!
