Boring. I'm still waiting for Sony to say something about the "official" mexican launch (despite the fact that PS3s are already being sold everywhere at a horrible price (I bought it in the states anyway)). That is, so I can buy the e-distributed titles.

I was a DieHard Nintendo player back when I was a kid even when the Genesis was the system to have for its sports games and speed. Than I moved to Sony because the N64 didn't have enough good games, I even got the PS2 as no one I knew even had the GameCube. Sony was the system to have an no one could dispute that.
Now though with PS3 it seems Sony has lost its luster and just like the 16 bit wars between the SNES and Sega, it is looking like the 360 is the system for hardcore gamers and PS3 is not.
I myself have not bought any system but as it is looking right now with all the exclusives moving towards both systems their is less reason for me to hold out for that killer game from the PS3 (no, Resistance, Motor Cross, does not count) Heck, the 360 will even support Blue Ray if it wins out the movie wars and it is coming out with an HDMI upgrade.
I don't know, I like the Sony brand and its system was looking great but they came out late and have no real good games for their system. I will give them until Summer and if the 360 comes out with an HDMI before than, its not looking good for Sony because like before, when Nintendo was king and it was replaced by Sony, now Sony may be reaplaced by the 360 in mine and other peoples' libraries.

Yeah Frank, why should you post your honest opinion. That's not what discussion blogs are about. The PS3 is the new N64, great and powerful system with a few great games littered throughout its lifetime, but nothing to keep you loyal.

You just have to be patient. Remember, the 360 didn't have any good until like a year after it was released. So, compare the PS3 lanuch titles to the 360 launch titles and we'll see how they stack up.

Ill be honest I'm a 360 fanboy I wont lie. But i will tell you this. MS had zero competition when the 360 came out so in a sense it was ok to not have any killer games out.

However the PS3 comes out while the 360 is already out. You would figure they would have known about this and released some killer games. Out of the list of games the PS3 has all I hear about is RFOM and Motorstorm.

While the 360 has at the same time Gears of War Dead Rising and Lost Planet.

Its ok to be patient do not get me wrong. But while you have competition some times patients is not the best of things

why the hell do you have to be patient when there are so many good games out there on other systems? Right now the DS is where the magic is. 360 & Wii got a good thing going too and PS2 ruled for a long long time and its still riding out a great wave.

But if you are missing out on all the DS action, you'll look back 5 years from now and say, yeah I was around but never got into it.. that will be sad.

If you don't want PS3 games, don't be patient, go buy X360 or DS or whatever. And you go to X360fanboy or DSfanboy site.

This is a site for rich people who have money to buy themself a mercedes! Not some unpatient, poor, homeless, dirty people. I don't understand why you poor people come here anyway?! Go to your other fanboy sites and complain to your poor buddies about the PS3 price. Did it ever occured to you that if you join with your buddies, maybe three or four of you could save some money together and have a PS3 one week at each's house, umm, cave, shack, box...whatever you poor people use for shelter.

When I said be patient, I meant about the quality of the games. People are saying that the graphics of current 360 games are better the the graphics of the PS3. Thats because the developes fiqured out how to use the 360 before the PS3. So if the graphics of the PS3 is almost the same (if only slightly less as good) as the 360 without the developers even knowing how to use it properly, then it shows that the PS3 has much greater potential then the 360 in the long run.

Do the 360 fanboys have nothing to do other than crash the PS3 site and make themselves look like idiots?

Also, Sony isn't too worried at this point - it outsold the 360 install base in Japan within the first few weeks of release. If anything, Microsoft should be sweating since the one place they needed to do well to gain any legitimacy in the console market was Japan. Wait until next month when the numbers for Europe, NA, and Japan are added up and we'll really see where the console wars are at.
