If things are the same in the UK as they are here in the states, then you fine folk across the pond are having as tough a time as us trying to find a Wii. Don't tell that to Nintendo of Europe, however, as they commented to GameSpot that Wii shipments were taking place on a regular basis. "It is still very much the case that regular shipments of Wii are being made to retailers across the UK and have been since launch," says the spokesperson. OK, that's great, but where are these Wiis at?Demand is higher than expected, apparently, as the spokesperson goes on to say "It's simply a fact that demand remains incredibly high for Wii with some retailers reporting higher interest now than at launch. Every unit we make right now is selling." Well, that's good for Nintendo, but not good for those of you in the UK still trying to get ahold of your Wii. Stores over here have been getting sneaky shipments on the weekends, but they're flying off the shelf just as soon as they're placed.
How goes your hunt for a Wii in the UK?
