Nice! Katamari Damacy should be a perfect fit for the Wii.

Let's hope they don't tack on some motion controls, but actually put some effort into it :)

Why would Namco let them continue reporting facts about their games that aren't true??

The remote and the nunchuck can correspond perfectly to the 2 analog sticks. Any other controls on top of that would be for the camera (the analog on the nunchuck mayhaps?) or for some wacky special moves they throw in.

But what I'd really really prefer for a new Katamari game, is that instead of wasting a second on upgrading the graphics, because this game does not need graphics, they should pour all the resources into the number of objects in the game, the size of the maps, the number of objects on the screen at once, more subtle size variations between items, and then... A LEVEL EDITOR. Happiness: achieved. Runon sentence: out.

4.
Did Namco say it wasn't true? It sound like they just asked them to pull the story. Usually when that happens without a denial from the company, that means that the story is true.

It's at the top of my Gamefly list.

If the story weren't true, Namco wouldn't want them reporting facts/games that weren't true.
If the story were true, Namco would want the game to get coverage and publicity. Why would a company go around saying "Hey you, stop telling the truth about our future products."

I don't know. Ask Sony why they freaked out on Kotaku for reporting Home before it was officially announced.

Katamari Damacy games are great! I love the other 3 games. I am torn between getting this for Xbox 360 or Wii.

What does Keita Takahashi have to say about this? I know that Namco Bandai would be just as happy to make the game without him (they announced We ♥ Katamari before he joined the team), but I wonder if it will be any good without him?

As someone who played the original Katamari Damashii (Not DamaCY ya yanks =P) I can honestly say that I am thrilled to be getting a new one. The created of Katamari is one of the biggest morons alive; Having created a could-be star franchise, he's suddenly too good for it and doesn't want to do it anymore. Good, because Katamari doesn't need him, we don't need him, and we are all better off without him.

As far as graphics go, I think if you just put on some simple anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering etc, and get rid of the jaggies, that is all the graphical polish Katamari needs. Now, that isn't to say that I wouldn't enjoy Katamari with a realistic sky (Ala Oblivion, Halo 3) or realistic ground (Ala Crysis) but it just doesn't seem reasonable.

Thank you Namco. My only other request from your joint venture with Bandai is a decent Gundam game this century. Please? Please? PLEASE?!?!?!?
