IGN has some of the

Final Fantasy fanboys and fangirls in attendance. The tip of the iceberg includes:
- Dragon Quest Monster Joker (DS, playable)
- Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wing (DS, playable)
- Final Fantasy Tactics (PSP, playable)
- Itadaki Street DS (DS, playable)
- Dragon Quest Swords (Wii, playable)
- It's a Wonderful World (DS, playable)
- Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII (PSP, playable)
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (DS, playable)
- Final Fantasy XI (PS2, X360, Windows, playable)
- Final Fantasy (PSP, video)
- Final Fantasy II (PSP, video)
- Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road (Arcade, video)

- Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Mobile, video)
Partygoers will also be able to play a slew of mobile game demos, and will be going home with exclusive Square Enix goodies, some of which can be seen
here. Give us the slime from
Dragon Quest, and we might be able to pretend like we experienced all this first-hand.

I would expect the news - if it happens of course - to come out during a Microsoft press conference and not a Square Enix one.

I feel there won't be one, but maybe new FF online for 360 as well?

Why? If you had a 360 you wouldn't say that. Sony is a greedy ass Japanese company and MS is a greedy ass American company, but at least MS is catering to the fanbase with exclusives.
Go ahead and stay loyal to your company. Sooner or later your will realize the 360 is bliss.

Hiroken: Please keep FFXIII PS3 exclusive. It needs it to survive and provide competition for 360!
Jack: Umm, why should it stay exclusive? 360 is bliss, lawl....!
Hiroken: Umm, to provide competition... I just said that...
Jack: ONE CONSOLE TO RULE THEM ALL!

2. I'm this fucked up naturally... imagine me on drugs. Countries FEAR that scenario! Fox News regularly runs reports on what would happen should sheppy drop acid. Women and children flee from such events. Mass panicks and people rising from the dead. You best hope your ass is in on the Rapture because you sure as hell don't want to be stuck down here... with me... on drugs.
3. That's the best you can do for clever? C'mon, man! You gotta up your game.

I have a PS3, but I'd much rather play FFXIII on the 360, as with any other game. It's just more fun to game on the 360 in my opinion.
If Microsoft were smart, they would con SE into giving remakes of FFVII - FFXII to the 360. That way both consoles would have those games available (PS3 would have BC for them), and they could make decent money with merely upgrading the graphics. You know people would buy them.
ANYWAY,
That's a hell of a lot of Final Fantasy. I can't wait for Crisis Core and XIII. X2, XI, XII, and Dirge were crap...so I'm looking for the series to be redeemed! Damn that stuff for not being available to all.

Nomuro has stated constantly that, until FFXII Versus is finished, he's not going to start work on the next Kingdom Hearts game.

I think it's in Square's best interest to push FFXIII to as many consoles as possible -- it should hit the Wii too, if they can "turn down the sliders" on the graphics enough -- because it's their flagship brand, and that's that. They live or die by fanboy perception of FF, and for each Wii-only or 360-only kid who can't afford to buy every console that comes down the pike, they've lost not just a sale, but a heart. They might lose 50-60 bucks on the game that doesn't get bought, but they might lose a further $100+ in t-shirts, books, action figures, etc. that the kid doesn't get because he couldn't play the game. And that's bad business.
So, uh, don't make me buy a PS3, Square. Please!
