I'm a proud owner of a 360 but for cripes sakes give the PS3 a chance! They need some decent games, and the more systems on the market the better.

exclusivity needs to die a painfully quick death. Gamers need games and developers and publishers need money...it's that simple...come on. Oh and yeah I totally want SW:BF 3....and with Free Radical working on it I want it even more.

I love exclusive games, because if a developer can concentrate on optimizing a game for a specific set of hardware, then it will look the best it possibly can for that system. Also, I hated having the stink of the PS2 save system on my X-Box games - autosave should be a given. Who the crap filled up their hard drive to the point they needed a memory card, anyway?

I love, love, love Free Radical, and I can't wait to see what they can do with the Star Wars franchise. Hopefully they won't make their characters look like disproportionate marionettes with huge breasts this time around... Or rather, hopefully they will. Mmmm, Aayla Secura, you're my dream boat!

We're supposed to believe that George Lucas, a man that has done nothing but milk one franchise for almost 30 years, wants to turn down extra money from a multiplatform release?

I doubt it. It doesn't even make sense on any level. Even if there was 20 PS3s in exsistance, Lucas wouldn't pass up an opportunity to make a spare buck with a slap dash port.

i think that exclusives are good, because time is devoted to one version to make it the very best. however, i think its unnecesary that franchises are bought and sold, i.e. MLB rights vs. NFL rights per developers and so on and so on.

EA makes mediocre NFL games, and 2K makes mediocre MLB games now that the competition has been removed.

I hope that makes sense.

Whats the point of even having more than one console if they don't have exclusives? An exclusive allows them to optimize it for that specific hardware and not the "lowest common denominator". Battlefront is a multiplayer focused type of game and Live is the best online game experience so I don't see why it wouldn't be some type of exclusive, even if just a timed one. I think only the consumer loses from cross platform releases..

Sweet. The TimeSplitters games are fantastic, as well as the SW: Battlefront series. I can only imagine what Free Radical will come up with for the next BF game. As for the exclusivity, I agree that it should end as long as we keep getting the great games we're getting for the 360, that is.

The best thing that Lucasarts has done with this serie is moving it to FreeRadical. Pandemic did a poor job in translating a Battlefield type game to the Star Wars franchise.

I like FreeRadical a lot. I have my respects for Pandemic too, but Battlefront was a week game compared to the Star Wars mod made for Battlefield 1942.
