Impermissible means "not permissible."
What's perplexing about that?
Not all gamers are fourteen-year-old boys or potheadas, we can handle the big (well, medium sized) words.

I'm confused. What's wrong with that quote?

She's saying it's an unconstitutional restriction on free speech rights to limit the games' advertising on mass transit. Seems fairly clear to me... And impermissible is a perfectly normal word.

Well its pretty obvious that if you can advertise strip clubs in Kansas (place of mine mine household and quite conservative), you should be able to advertise mature games in Denver(not nearly as goody goody as Ks).

I don't care if they're allowed to be advertised or not, as long as rated R movies get the same treatment.

Yeah, I have to agree with other posters who think that calling "impermissible" "perplexing" is a little sophomoric.

Banning tobacco doesn't make a whole lot of sense earlier. Movies and games are a self-regulated industry. If government can feel confident they're regulating themselves propery, why do they think the laws they create are so toothless that they have to hide the very existence of tobacco from children? Refusing to allow tobacco advertisements says volumes about how confident the government is about their own power.

"the Denver RTD only bans ads for tobacco products"

Wait, isn't marijuana legal in Denver?

Marijuana isn't "legal" in Denver. Officially, Possession of under 1 oz. of marijuana has been decriminalized to a misdemeanor ticket, as opposed to jail time. However, federal law still overrules state law, so Denver law enforcement can still bust you for it. Or something. I live in Denver, but I'm not going to go running around with an ounce just for the heck of it. I mean, an ounce is a pretty good amount.

Incidentally, if the subject of marijuana decriminalization ever comes up in your locality, i highly urge you to vote in its favor, as (in my opinion) decriminalization and regulation will significantly lower marijuana related crime (i.e. burglaries, robberies, etc.), as well as lowering the amount of people in local jails for possession. I'm not promoting marijuana use, per se, so please don't flame me.
