Dark, a sword is kept in a sheath. To remove it from the sheath is unsheathing it.

I dont want only stylus controls for an action game! Why not give us the option of using the face buttons? My hand is big and despite my best intentions, I cannot see through it. If this Ninja Gaiden is anything like the other Ninja Gaiden games, I'm going to need to be able to see what is going on at all times.

I love my DS Lite...

But I'm damn sick of stylus controls. All games should have the option to use the control pad...especially an action game such as this.

Action title controlled by the stylus? No thanks.

A game like Ninja Gaiden on the Nintendo DS?! Yikes, this can't end well...

It could if they went back to NG's side scrolling roots. But I have serious doubts if they make the controls based of the stylus. I'll have no interest in playing it then.

Umm... we can't talk about a game before it's released? Why can't I say that if the game controls almost entirely off the stylus I won't be interested? Because I can confidently say I won't be.

No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying, why be so pessimistic when hardly anything is known about the game, other than it is played sideways with stylus control?

It could turn out to be very bad, or very good. Or very average. We don't know yet.

But what I'm saying is I don't want an action game controlled via a stylus. This isn't something that is likely to change game to game either. It's just not a control scheme I'm interested in. I won't write it off completely, but at this point I'm just saying I don't like the sound of it.

dark please tell me english is you're 5th language. Just kidding, but how haven't you heard of a sheath?!?! What have you been calling them? Carrying cases? Sword Holders?

So what you guys are saying is that if Starcraft comes out for the DS you won't be interested in it because....ehh...you're sick of using the stylus to play games.... ??

And what do you mean if it's anything like other NG games? You mean the one or two (basically the same game.. or did they make more that i missed? please tell me yes because I loved that game) for the xbox? Because that game was nothing like other NG games.. At least not the ones I personally remember.. (if any came out on the PS1 or N64.. I would have missed those since I kinda skipped that generation)

Although it does seem like it will be similar style to their latest games.. That doesn't mean stylus controls will be bad.. You never know.. It could turn out to be quite good. Although I do agree that the chances are greater that it will turn out so-so.. I doubt they will be horrible though.. Not with the quality I have seen from these guys.

I am kind of getting sick of the stylus too my self.. but not for games that are designed for it.. Puzzle games (Meteos), games like Kirby, any kind of game like Diablo, Starcraft, Baldur's gate (damn I wish they would make those games.. I even think Zelda will be quite good with the styls especially playing Zelda TP on the Wii I am really open to the idea of stylus.. I don't think it will be bad.
