GTAIV Trailer is Live 4 realz!

I noticed that when you watch the trailer on the gtaiv site the video is choppy, but watch the HD version from xbox.com and the choppiness is gone. Must be the player.
The game looks great. Im excited. They have a few more months of polishing to go. They still have time to fill the streets. This was just a teaser and man did it tease..

should be sweet, i wonder what they are going to add to what last-gen's GTA's and saints row had...

I don't know what they'll call it in the game, but this is definitely NYC. It isn't just that there are some buildings that are identical to NYC buildings with some slight name changes but the scale is the same. If you look at some of the skyline shots certain identifiable buildings are in the exact same locations relative to each other as they are in real life and if you count the number of stories on some of the smaller buildings, like the Flat Iron building, it's the same as in real life. It certainly won't be called NYC in the game, Rockstar isn't that stupid, but it is virtually identical to NYC.

As for some people saying the ship says "Liberty City" on the back, well, that merely refers to where the ship hails from. It basically means the ship is based out of Liberty City. But this doesn't mean it is docked at Liberty City in the trailer. What it could mean, though I doubt Rockstar could do this, is that you could travel from this new city to Liberty City in-game. I'd be happy if you could just travel from the Bronx to Brooklyn and everything in between. That would be a game of massive depth and scale. Allow me to enter and explore even one building on every block and that would be insane. That would be a scale I'm not sure is possible, but it would be amazing.

I keep hearing everywhere that Saints Row, looks better then GTA4. Now it may be true, but lets consider something. It seems and Im pretty sure, that GTA4 has a MUCH BIGGER city area then saints row, and you know what happens when you have a bigger area? you need to drop down the graphics. so i think it looks ten times better then saints row.

ummm, did some of you forget that saints row was a gta ripoff? it doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same blog. graphics whores...sad...

god i hope it dosent come out 4 pc. i hate it when people say pc is a better console. its not even a console, udont see pc at q2 or e3!? besides cant live without halo 2.
