Indie Mac title Return to Dark Castle still hasn't returned
Indie Mac developer Delta Tao, whose website had languished without update for nine months, broke their silence this week to announce three small price drops for Spaceward Ho!, Clan Lord, and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire. But the real news still isn't on their official site. Rumor has it that Return to Dark Castle, in development for seven years, is finally done. For now, the game remains in limbo, awaiting negotiations between Delta Tao and current Dark Castle rights-holder Super Happy Fun Fun. (That's the game company owned by Ren & Stimpy, right?) How long will the licensing talks last? Hopefully not as long as development did.

Nice! I was talking with my friend the other day about the intro music, and couldn't remember what the name of this game was. I'd like to try the original again. I remember playing this game and the "Scorched Earth" Demo as some of my first gaming i ever did.

God....that's a niche game.
Maybe I'll power on my old old Mac Classic and play it. I never liked the arms rotating to throw stones.

I have been waiting SO LONG for them to release this. Is it soon? I have been meaning to play for a long time and no luck. Please Delta Tao, don't let me down.

Wow. I had no idea they were even working on that title. I remember playing the original back in the 80's. The combination of mouse and keyboard was too much for my undeveloped brain, so I would take the keyboard and my sister would take the mouse (or visa versa).

Hey guys, we've been discussing this game at the following spot:

Feel free to join up and share your opinions on the game! Awesome article! We lobbied Joe Williams' blog (President of Delta Tao) and got him to announce "with luck, RTDC will ship this summer, probably under SHFF's label." So, we're hoping to see this show up around June or July, possibly?
