seriously though, its too soon to judge. The trailer really didnt show much of anything... it is kind of a letdown in that aspect. still looks like there could be potential though.

I wonder how many discs i'll need for the the 360 version.

Man, this trailer was so DSUB.

The visuals didn't excite me at all, even though they look sharp. It actually took this game a notch or two lower on the hype meter since it looks like they're going to stick to the basic gangster-in-the-big-city formula, at least from what I'm seeing right now.

I'll hold my final opinion until I see some actual gameplay mechanics, but right now, mark me up in the "disappointed" column.

And yes, you are allowed to form an opinion of the game from the trailer. Rockstar hopes that reaction = "Freakin yeah!!", my reaction ="meh.."

Piques my interest, but I can't say I'm any more excited than I was before. I'm waiting until some real info comes out.

@ 112 I have to agree with you, the appeal of Vice City to me was the nostalgia, the cheesy music on the radio etc etc, to a lesser extent San Andreas, which for some reason I didn't enjoy as much. I am a child of the 80s. Anyway if the new GTA is set today and playing a member of the Russian mafia....sorry he won't get any empathy from me whatsoever. I would hope he gets taken down.

The graphics look great but I loved the gameplay in Vice City and the humour. That trailer looked pretty grim I can't see how human trafficking can be tongue in cheek.

on topic - trailer looks ok but i want a gameplay trailer and the thing the have to fix is the cop ai. im so sick of having chases and shootouts where they do the same crap over and over...so predictable.

ALSO i hate how the cops always know exactly where you are!! if you can get some distace on them you should be able to hide and they search the last known vicinity kind of thing. Driving around to get stars suck ass. if they dont fix these areas of the game i doubt ill buy it.
