PS3 boomerang prototype defended

g'YEAH VELOPS, I've been personally disgusted with the PS D-Pad for years... Does nintendo own the patent to a + shaped pad or something... cause the 360 d-pad is no better, it reminds me of the horrible genesis d-pad where it was a struggle to press one direction without hitting a diagonal.

Since you're the shining beacon of non-fanboy valid opinion, I am curious, do your gargantuan hands have trouble with standard keyboards?

The Z button is pretty mush instead of the L button for most games. (In my opinion)

Id like them to release the boomerang controller along with the sixaxis. Give gamers a chance to choose.

The 360 pad is definately the most comfortable pad i've used. It wins hands down for everything but fighting games. If only they could get the d pad right! The playstation controller is my preffered choice for the likes of Streetfighter, Tekken and Soul Calibur. But i agree it can be difficult to get the diagonals quite often. As for the worst? Easily the Dreamcast!

I've not had a chance to try out a Wii, but I hope to get one eventually. The Classic Controller looks pretty nice Dpad wise.

Sony should have made the boomerang controller i mean no one even tried it and criticized but when Xbox 1 first came out we said nothing till we tried it...come on Sony just make it for a year and see what people think about it

The wiimote is fun but when u play super mario bros for nes the b buttton gets annoying

The DualAnalog/DualShock/SixAxis design is the third most comfortable controller I've ever used, right behind Logitech's PS2 wireless and the Alps Interactive pad for the PS1 (which, ironically enough, looks almost exactly like the "boomerang").
