Chiptune stuff is really personal preference. Whether you want it to sound like d'n'b with a gameboy melody or like a lost track from Ninja Gaiden for NES... there's a lot of good stuff around. The 8-bit peoples label, 8-bit weapon, Bit Shifter, YMCK, 8-bit kraftwerk, Nanoloop 1.0. Everytime someone mentions someone they really like.. someone else says it's crap compared to what they like. There's alot of different styles of chiptune and alot of talented folk making it. No one's gonna like it all.

Of course... sometimes making 8-bit music into non-8-bit is just as good. Like say.... metroid metal (metroidmetal.com).
