Forza 2 demo a reality, says Microsoft

After popping up in a scanned page of Official Xbox Magazine, the Forza 2 demo has been given the official and unrelentingly green light by the Microsoft pit crew. The Redmond giant tells Eurogamer that further details regarding the demo, including its time of arrival on the Xbox Live Marketplace "will be confirmed in the coming weeks." As if sensing the impatience surrounding Forza 2's May release, Microsoft also doled out another list of cars set to be featured in the final product. Though you might better judge them after the break, we feel confident in confirming them all to be fast, shiny and the sort of expensive that demands the use of words like "ludicrously," "disgustingly," "outrageously" and "quite."

Sweet, I can't wait. I've been waiting for this game since last summer. Already bought the wheel a few months back (gets marginal use from PGR3 since NFS:C wasn't any good with the wheel).
This summers gonna be good for racing fans with forza 2 AND dirt: colin mcrae. Too bad im going on fuking vacations overseas to see family. FUCK. Gonna look into some how shipping the wheel there (already bringing the 360 and wii) since i doubt it'll fit in normal luggage.

3cubedminus3squared, I agree. The rs200 is, by far, my favorite ford ever. It is also one of my overall favorites too. I can't freaking wait for the demo to come out.

My car is in (2003 Honda S2000 (AP1)), and my fav tuner version is also there, Mugen S2K.. So, I'm super stoked and look forward to seeing if they corrected the look of the S2K.
With al of the screens that I have seen so far, they look decent, but I really want to see this at 60fps. I'm sure it's going to look VERY good.

30 FPS is what killed the first Forza for me. Microsft -- if you don't make 60 FPS, cut back on the textures until you do. I'd rather it be ugly and fluid than pretty.

30 FPS didn't hurt the original. It might be nice to have 60, but it certainly doesn't kill a game. Jeez.
