As long as they keep offline co-op if they add online, I'll be happy. I mean, if your partner is not within slapping distance it's just no fun.

I am excited for Halo 3, but if they do not include online co-op as a choice, I will be very disappointed, if there is a developer who needs online co-op, it's Bungie.

Lest they be accused of being a one-trick pony.

Its interesting seeing Bungie being coy with co-op considering that they basically set the standard for co-op for the last generation. I bet they are going to do online co-op but with a twist(ala GRAW 16 multi-player co-op maybe).

Seriously Bungie, online co-op is a must. I can't believe that it's actually possible that they might not include it. Halo is known for its multiplayer skills. I should be able to play with my friends online, offline and through system link. This includes co-op. Frankie best just be toying with us. I don't like his response at all.

"What is a co-op?" Oh he's cute, huh? I think Sony should hire Frankie, they really need a good PR man like Frankie.

I will be pleased if there is online co-op. I will be estatic if it goes up to 4 player co-op. I know playing next to a buddy is cool, but I've come to enjoy having the screen all to myself now and I think it is time for Bungie to take co-op to the next level. If they do not, they should realize that it'll be a major critizism of the game.

I've heard one reason for not having online co-op in halo2 was bandwidth limitation when fighting the flood.

You've got hundreds of little buggers running all over the place, so it's too hard for the 2 boxes to tell each other what each little flood dude is doing.

They could either design the whole game so the flood never attack in super big groups, or just release a different map set specifically designed for co-op that only has fighting against the covenant.

I still really want online co-op though.

I'd like to blow up grenades with a blaster. That would create another layer to the game.

I never play online Co-Op anyway, so I could care less if they implement it. What I really want is a solid date for the Beta, or atleast a solid week that it might come out. Come on Frankie >< we're Beta testing your game for free for cripes sake, throw us a damn bone.

I want to see 4-player co-op. with the size of the battles they're talking about for this game, that ought to be totally doable for once without breaking gameplay

32 player matches would be cool, kind of like socom 3. bungie could probably do it too. i am kind of surprised that no other console game has used 32 player matches, because it workes so well in socom 3.
