My favorite game on the wii is definitely Zelda:TP. Its the first Zelda game Ive played since the NES version and Im glad to be back in the Nintendo realm. The things I loved the most about Zelda were the controls and the storyline. The storyline is one of the best Ive ever seen in a game.

Next up is definitely Wii Sports. Its branded as a demo disc, but I think its much more in depth than just a demo. Definitely looking forward to Wii Sports 2 (hopefully!) and with online capabilities

I agree with the above statement. Zelda:TP was the Zelda I have been looking to play and it delivered. Great experience.

Others I have liked:
Wii Sports (beyond replayability)
Wario Ware
Trauma Center

Not liked:
Red Steel
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (hated the controls)

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii Sports

That;s the only Wii games worth getting excited about if you ask me!

Oh, and Link To The Past if you count Virtual Console releases.

Excite Truck!!!!
Though I love the Zelda game, I don't ever seem to have enough time to sit and play it. With Excite truck its instant action. Plus the ability to add your own sound track is great, you need to play the space level while listening to Dragon Force, then you will know what I'm talking about.

Zelda was great, but I'm really loving Godfather: Blackhand Edition right now. Multi-player champ is naturally Wii Sports.

Zelda: TP
WiiSports - Tennis
WiiPlay - Billiard (if only WiiMote didn't sucked in it ad much as it does)

I have also Rayman and Monkey Ball - but they both are not my games. Both belong to genre "masochistic".

How does the Wiimote suck in Billiards? Works fine for me.

I'm really been digging into Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I love the characters and the Wii controls make the game that much more fun. I've even got the wife into it :)

After that Wii Sports. But we're planning a Wii marathon this weekend and will be renting Elebits and another multi-player title to be determined.... suggestions?

Probably Sonic, followed by Zelda. Wii Sports bowling and Wii Play's Tanks get an honorable mention from me, too.
But Sonic just keeps pulling me back in. I like it's old school vibe. I haven't been temped to FULLY complete a game (get all gold medals, in this case) in a loooooooooong time. Not since Donkey Kong Country came out, I think.

Tiger Woods is really good, too, but I don't own it.
ha!- my mom does, though..

Metal Slug Anthology. It only came out here in the UK last Friday and I must have logged at least 40 hours on it since then. I'd forgotten how sublime MS3 was and despite having played most of them to death through... *ahem*... other means, I love having a collection of classic games at a reasonable price, at last. Also, it's great to see a variety of games on the Wii.

Oh, and Zelda:TP. Still playing that, love it.

THE BEST------
Zelda: Still need to beat it...
Excitetruck: Awesome rush.
Super Swing Golf: So addictive!
SSX Blur: Sublime.
Godfather: Surprisingly kick-ass.

I also have Red Steel and Rayman, both of which are excellent, not to mention all the VC games I've wasted time with.

Not sure about favourite, but the game I am playing the most is Tiger Woods '07.

Perhaps it is bacause it is a touch more of a casual game than Zelda (I can pick it up and play a quick game without having to worry about it turning into a marathon).

Of course, the Wii Sports games rock too, but I tend to only play those when I've got friends and family over.

Nintendo sent me Super Paper Mario, so I'm crazed out on that game. I love the idea of Pixls giving Mario special powers, and the new feel of the PM series is nice. I guess, having played the other games, that this sort of style was inevitable. Many elements from the other games blend very well with the new one.
There are some flaws, but definitely worth picking up the Side-scroller RPG.

Zelda has got to be the most overrated game of all time...I like it, but nothing surprised me, typical light/dark story, and It felt like I had played it before.

Godfather is pretty good...

Zelda is amazing so far but i need to finaly finish it before I can honestly say its the best game ever. I have been playing godfather non stop. My wife is addicted to it too. Luckily its very pleasing to watch someone play, although its more pleasing to throw ppl on the ground and kick them in the stomach ;). I have also been playing Tiger Woods alot, I like that game alot, I just need to get some of my frds into it.

Godfather is excellent, after a few hours the controls feel very natural and you'll be throwing yourself into smashing boxes, strangling bad guys and performing all the neat execution moves.

Other than that, yes Zelda TP of course but also WarioWare and Excitetruck for the new ways of using the Wiimote.

I can't say I'm impressed with the channels so far, particularly the very poor Everybody Votes channel which I looked at twice but never went back - come on Nintendo, some of us have been waiting since December to get some decent online stuff!

Other than that I'm a big virtual console fan and in order to pay my debt to my years of emulator abuse I've been buying back all my fave classics from F-Zero, Super Ghouls and Ghosts and Super Mario World to my current favourite which takes me back to my pre-teen years, Legend of The Mystical Ninja. To be honest I'd say LOTMN is almost a Zelda beater! It's incredibly fun to play due the variety of minigames and the quirky storyline and characters. An essential purchase and brings back very fond memories from when I had it on US import on my PAL SNES back in the day (anyone else remember the two cartridge Action replay? Ugly as sin with the squared off grey US cartridge sticking out of the top and the delicate rounded white PAL cartridge sticking out of the back - looked like it was going to topple over at any minute)

All I want now is the original Starfox (or Starwing as they had to call it over here, I loved the levels they included in Warioware and it'd be great if they could incorpate the same handling to the original game as well (how cool was it to control the Arwing by tilting the Wiimote!!)

I have top say though the most popular game for when I have mates round is the TG 5 player Bomberman. Insanely addictive and as basic a Bomberman as you'll ever get.

Lately i've been playing Kororinpa: marble mania. Of course Zelda is great but I also loved Monkey Ball, Excite Truck, Wii Sports, Wii Play and more. It's hard for me to choose a favorite, so far everything I've played I liked.

LoZ:TP is amazing. It's the first zelda game I've played since Link to the Past. Also Wii Sports (bowling and tennis with friends)
I never got a gamecube so I've got a great backlog of games to play. I've spent nearly as much time with Metroid Prime as I have with Zelda. I've got MP2 waiting, both Pikmins, killer 7, eternal darkness and others waiting
I'll wait for Tiger Woods 08 since that'll be out soon and I am experiencing a glut of games instead of a drought

WTF??? How do I get to be a 'Wii Ambassador'? I've been tearing my hair out waiting for Super Paper Mario for weeks, if not months. I was actually going to snarkily put down that my favorite Wii game is "The Waiting Game", waiting for another reason (after completely exhausting Zelda) to turn the damn thing back on. Now I want to be an Ambassador...

Wii Sports here - our household always goes back to Wii Sports after trying out the new games we bought. In fact, we lent out most of our games for a friend to try out because we weren't playing them too much.

In response to Jon Carroll's comments about the Everyone Votes Channel, that's the channel that our household loves the most! We check in every few days to vote and what's been fascinating are the demographics. For the question do you prefer to live by the beach or the mountains, it turned out that most of the country wanted to live by the beach, except Colorado, Utah and Montana. Hmm where are the Rockies again? It was a fun little fact to discover.

The past week, we've been hooked on Animal Crossing (a GameCube game) of all things. I bought it for $20 and boy has that been worth the money.

But strictly Wii games? It's definitely Wii Sports here. A week doesn't go by without one of us picking that up and playing it. Can't say the same of all the other games including Zelda, Trauma Center, Wii Play, Madden, SSX Blur, Cooking Mama, WarioWare, Rayman, & Red Steel.

For a unique; can't be had elsewhere and actually takes advantage of the damn hardware capabilities

It has to be Sonic and the Secret Rings, beautifully constructed world, great use of the remote, and that rollercoaster-esque experience missing from other 3D Sonics

For replay value, Wii Sports

LOL @ Rayman and Monkey Ball as masochistic. I agree, I think, due to MB's controls, and the fact that I always manage to hurt myself while playing Rayman.

I really enjoy billiards in Wii Play also -- a good friend of mine is an awesome pool player, and watching what he does there has actually taught me a lot about the game itself. IT'S EDUCATIONAL!

But I have to side with the Wii Sports folks. It's simplistic and brilliant.

Zelda was awesome, but not a complete home run. There were little things, and frankly it felt a little small to me. I dunno. The aesthetics of it, the music, sound, art direction, and ambience were all absolutely top notch. It's a GORGEOUS game.

For me the best so far is still Wii Sports. It's a great way to introduce people to the console, and it's still a blast to play. It's so complex when you get to the tiny details of the game. It's a game based on performance skill, not on memorizing button combos.

I also enjoy WarioWare - I think it's absolutely brilliant.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess...

It's just so amazing, you can actually play it for hours and hours, yet there are always new things!! You never get tired of playing it! I love those "built-in minigames" (sumo, snowboarding, fishing)...

Wii Sports and WarioWare are the best multiplayers, you can just start playing for fun, and everyone enjoys it!

Sonic - Love the multiplayer mini-games, only thing I can get my wife to play, and after getting used to the jumping controls, got hooked on the single player game too!

Monkey Ball - Addicted from the moment I played the single player, multiplayer left something to be desired though...

Madden 07 - only played for a short while, but after my first touchdown I am addicted. Too bad I have to take it back to the rental place soon!!!

Then of course...the Wii Sports (Tennis and Golf) and Wii Play (Tanks, Shooting Range, Laser Hockey) I have repeatedly returned to for a quick fun game! Also lovin' up on some VC Tecmo Bowl, Mario Kart 64, and Star Fox 64!

You guys need to give more love to SSX:Blur . I had not played a snow-boarding game since Amped on the Xbox. And this is way more fun. The controls are top notch, and mastering them is fun. The game is hard to beat but easy to pick-up for a quick play. Too bad it got such poor reviews.

Godfather is my favorite currently. Though...I didn't play the original version of the Godfather games, so I probably am not the best to judge. Otherwise, either Wii Sports, or Excite Truck. I'm not sure if I want to call TP a "Wii game" still, since it was really a cube game with very minimal changes to controls...

Call of Duty 3 currently has me hooked and SSX Blur is really fun, although Slalom mode is killing me.

There's a way-too-long rundown of how i feel about the Wii right now; hope you enjoyed, haha...

Twilight Princess was a great game, but was still utter crap relative to Wind Waker. Wii Sports is the best so far, although that'll almost certainly change on the 9th.

Wii Sports. Still love the baseball and bowling. People still come over and play bowling.

Zelda was good, but I thought Wind Waker and OoT were both better.

Have yet to get excited about anything else. Might buy Trauma Center, and maybe, maybe Sonic. That's it. Nothing else has me on my feet till Samus (pre-ordered) and Mario (still waiting) hit the block.
