After an insightful episode of South Park that explained the relationship between bunnies, eggs, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we decided to do some of our own research into the history of the seemingly bizarre Easter rituals. After becoming bored with that, we thought about easter eggs in the virtual sense -- i.e. those hidden treats found on CDs, DVDs and video games.
Celebrate Easter by telling us your favorite virtual easter eggs; while you're thinking, check out our picks for the week's best game-related webcomics. Be sure to vote for your favorite!

The stupid RPGTV one didn't make any sense. If you flip that chart over, it would still be showing a huge decrease.

Garbage. All garbage. I'm a fan of a couple of those strips, too, but all of those sucked ass. I'm watching MST3k and am in a laughing mood, too. That's sad.

Digital Unrest mentions Chick Chick Boom. Extra Life points out the real winner is IBM. The one I really liked was 2P Start's Nights Journey of Screams. Showing the Shadow the Hedgehog creators to leave well enough alone.

While I didn't get a laugh out of it, 2PStart's comic definitely hits the right note.
The rest of them suck.

@5 Rubang B,
Yes but the chart still has an incremental increase if you check real carefully. Seriously though I think the chart would have had to be printed on transparent acetate for that to work. Our comic was retarded.

I think I'm starting to like Dueling Analogs and Digital Unrest more than CAD and VGCats now.
Might have to fiddle around with my bookmarks...
Oh, yeah. Voted for Analogs. I thought the joke was pretty cleaver.

I don't like that gamers galaxy site. The archive looks like an FTP site and the drawing crude.
Where is VG Cats? They've got a hilarious one about EBA and Hitler. OK maybe not haha funny but still.
Forgot about favorite Easter egg. The Mario portraits at Zelda's garden and the eel at the bottom of the lake lab.

Jesus Christ.
How the fuck is Tim Buckley still making comics?
CAD is not funny. At best, it was chuckle-worthy. At worst it was downright stupid.
The internet needs to stop giving that man free fucking money.

@Chrysis, hey cheer up little buddy. In my furious post earlier I forgot to mention that I thought the 3rd panel was great. Drowning jokes are always good.

I couldn't agree more. the comics being pumped out lately are awful all around. I recently ran across a new comic site that is filling in the gaps so many comics right now are leaving.
http://www.slimeculture.tv
I highly suggest you guys take a peek. Joystiq might wanna include this in their round up as well.

That slime culture webcomic is kind of good but it doesn't have a very good archive. When I look at a webcomic I want to be able to look at the whole thing very easily.

Why no Penny Arcade and VG Cats?
Penny Arcade's Rock Band comic should qualify.
http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/04/04
And both VG Cats' recent Zelda and Viva Pinata comics have been excluded!

"CAD 4 life"
"LOL "I try-a to put it out, but all water is made of paper!"
HAHA! That's gold joystiq! Gold!"
Allow me to start a fire so you two can go die in it.
CAD is horrible beyond words... I don't understand what kind of simplistic idiots can even find the Paper Mario comic even remotely amusing. Like WTF?

@ TruthBeTold
I still like the humor found in modern-day children's cartoons (especially Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends and Fairly Oddparents), as well as stuff like Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen, while still appreciating more complex satiricals like the work of Garrison Keillor
Stupid humor just happens to really click with me, but i'm a comedic conneissour
And you must've HATED Steven Wright...

The CAD one isn't funny because the joke is explained in ALL FOUR panels, a weak joke at that. And considering that "paper" jokes like this were probably first made when the ORIGINAL Paper Mario came out in 2001, it's just tedious.

I worked my butt off to see Yoshi in 3D by getting 120 Stars in Super Mario 64... that was pretty cool.
